This is a jewel of a campground. The sites are large and level, especially the back in spots. Our spot, 4, was likely the smallest in width but still plenty big for our 36 foot rig and jeep. The park has several community areas including a fire ring with chairs and a small cabin where the wifi is super fast. We had great wifi in our rig as well and good AT&T coverage. The park is close to Brevard and the Pisgah Forest waterfalls. And the camp host and owner are super nice! They continually are working on the park to keep it clean and pretty. With only 12 sites, it is a small campground and does not offer any showers or laundry facilities, but it is well worth a visit!

Super easy to get into from I40 with spacious roads and lanes. The spaces in the campground are very large and well set up. The only real downfall is the road noise and the lack of personality at this campground. I am not sure where these pics were taken, but overall, this is a large concrete pad with a lovely building and manicured natures.

This is a top notch State Park with full hookups, great fire pits and picnic tables. The spaces are spacious and well-spaced apart especially in the A section. The best site in the whole park is #16, with #14 a close second. Both look out on the lake and #16 gets a full view with no view of neighbors. That said, all the even numbered spaces in A loop have lake views and great sitting areas outside. Our spot was across the road, but still great with views out front to lake and our sitting area behind looked out on the canal. The women in the front office were super sweet and helpful. And if you like to boat or kayak, this is a great lake with a few launch ramps. Highly recommend if you are in the area. There is a lot of great hikes in this area and only 1.5 hours from LIttle Rock.

This was our first major campground as full time RVers and we were moving our son into CSU. Not only was this camp super close and convenient to him and downtown FOCO, but it was a lovely way to start our new life. We paid extra to have the paver patio so the space was very large and rarely had neighbors to one side. Our neighbors to the other side, Angie and John, were workkampers on the site and very friendly. They were sweet enough to keep an eye on our dog. The camp is geared to families with lots of fun amenities like a pool, playground, fishing, etc. which we didn't use. This drives the cost up quite a bit! However, it is a super clean campground with a great laundry and good wifi. We had up our cell booster and got great reception for AT&T on cell and internet, though I did use the camp wifi a few times and thought it worked well. There is a lovely walk around the lake, perfect for daily exercise and the Poudre Trail is not far if you wanted to bike. Very impressed that they had trash pickup outside your rig daily and folks cleaning or trimming plants all the day to keep it very neat. The sites are nicely situated with easy wide roads and turns so super easy to get in and out even with a big rig and trailer. Only negative, which was big for us with our son nearby, was the $10 per day visitor fee. They charged this for folks stopping by or if you had more than 2 in your rig. While I understand the reasoning with the amenities, if you are an adult, it seems unfair to charge this when we would not use them or if someone were only visiting for a few hours.

This was definitely one of the best KOAs we have ever stayed in. While it might be a Journey, it has very impressive amenities including great wifi, a nice store, and some very nice upgraded pads. Friends stayed in their cabin, which are nice though the smaller ones didn't have a bathroom.

The owners, who are so friendly and wonderful, are adding even more upgrades including a great play area with corn hole and putting green. Conveniently located off the highway, it is easy to get to all the highlights of the city. We highly recommend the breakfast spot just down the road, Cafe Fina! We went at least three times!

Starting with the positives, the staff was great and the campground includes a lot of amenities including a pool and bounce pad for the kids. The pool looked very nice with a waterfall, but it was too cold for me to look too closely. They also have a small putt putt which could use some love. Overall it seemed the whole campground has the right features, just needed some love and attention.

It was a mixed bag of sites with many not having sewer, which we discovered upon arrival. We originally planned to only stay a week. Then when we extended, we forgot that we didn't have sewer connection. Not a big deal since they have an onsite dump, just a pain. We haven't stayed at any KOAs that didn't have full hookups so just a miss on our part. The weekend traffic is high here we could not find a spot to move for the entire time.

This is a very high traffic campground with folks passing through on way to/from Florida. There are also a far number of long-term guests. These spots seemed to have the majority of full hook up sites. The spots were strangely not uniform. All are pull throughs. The picnic tables and fire pits were in different spots or instead of a picnic table, there were table and chairs. One spot had a deck and iron furniture while another was set up with a dog pen. Several were very close to buildings like the MX building. Spot A14 looked very close but had nice furniture. The spots seemed fairly even and for mostly hard packed ground, not cement.

The laundry room was small. The bathrooms and showers were in disarray as they said they were renovating them. The worst part was the water, which had that beach smell and tasted terrible. I think that was not their fault as it seemed to be true at restaurants as well.

I would stay here again if in the area. It was very convenient to the Golden Isles and Amelia Island, but I would be more careful with picking my spot and would bring my own water. I suggest spot 6 for a larger space or A8. Our AT&T wifi worked well during the day, but tended to slow during the evenings. Their free internet worked ok enough.

This looks like a campground that can use some love and updates, but has great potential with room to grow and very fixable issues.

This is a great campground for trips where. you want peace amid natural settings. The campground is lovely with lots of trees. In fact, we understand that they didn't cut any when putting in the RV park which explains the sites being farther apart than most and a bit quirky in the placements. There is also a strange second campground on the opposite side of the road which includes long-termers, one who really likes Christmas and still had it all lit up in March. The staff is great and the resort has a pool and huge clubhouse where they encourage folks to set up their crafts. They also host several events a month for campers including a great burger cookout for the Super Bowl while we were here. My only issue is the location. We didn't mind being that far out from San Antonio or the HIll Country as it looked like we would be on a lake. Well, the lake is completely dry. Like not one drop. I am not sure if there are plans to fill it when rain comes as there seems to be a drought there now. So, we were a strong hour from San Antonio and 40 minutes from Fredericksburg. It takes 15 minutes just to get to highway from the winding road leading to the campground. So, check on the lake if that is key for your visit and just know that the nearest large grocery is a strong 38 minutes away. But if you want quiet and a friendly campground, this might be a great fit. Rate is based on a weekly rate.

This is an amazing camp, especially for families. While the spots are close and the camp huge, it has a very personal touch with the staff and amenities. This is one camp that lives up to its resort tag (and fee) with plenty of activities and amenities including a splash area and putt putt. Another great amenity is the onsite bus stop that takes you to the Metro into DC. They know that you are there to see D.C. and make it easy with a map and materials to outline best bets. They also have a session every day to help with sightseeing plans. We didn't attend but I think this is a great addition.

They have folks going around to shuttle you to the front and you can also call for a pick up. Exciting for me as I never see it is that they also recycle and have many bins so there is one close by. We stayed at slot 37 which was considered premium, then moved to 62. I liked 62 better based on its location with more trees. I think premium gave you a brick patio, but it looked like others had tables as well so unsure it is worth it for the brick. Overall, a very expensive camp but one that actually is worth the money.

This campground was very convenient for us to the north entrance of Yellowstone, but more importantly to Bozeman and neighboring cities. The staff is very careful with it cleanliness and the grass (sometimes overly so) so the camp sparkles. We had the corner lot (I can't find the number, but the opposite corner to the office) which was amazing with lots of outdoor living space. It was only water and electric so we were careful with showers and bathroom. Luckily they have very clean single bathrooms with showers that were easy to walk to. The town of Livingston was lovely even with Covid closings and we strongly recommend going to the Wed night Farmer Market in town. You can get food and beer from the food trucks and there is usually entertainment. The slots were even and nicely graveled and each space has a picnic table. The pull throughs in the middle were very long and spacious. We just had room to back in our 36 foot home and park our tow.

First, I want to give a shout out to Jeri, who works in the office here. She is a delight and so wonderful. I wish I had started with her instead of making the reservation online. This campground is a bit quirky in its layout. It can accomodate big rigs, but in only a few spots. Unfortunately, the website does not always give accurate info. So CALL. Luckily, we were running late so I called to check how they handled late check ins. In doing so, I discovered that our booked site handles rigs up to 25 feet, a good ten plus feet too short. Jeri suggested we go into site 18 at least for first night, then we would figure it out. By the time we arrived, they discovered that 20 was vacant and put us there for the first three nights of our stay. Then we had to move to their "emergency" site of 10. Site 20 was lovely, right on the water. Site 10 was up in the trees with a view of the lodge so not as pretty. The key thing is that maneuvering this campground is tricky. You can do it in a 36 foot, but only if you are a sure driver. To get out of #20, we had to drive down a narrow passage, then back into a site to pull out forward, watching the whole time for poles, trees, and the mirror of one rig. Site 10 required equal dexterity in getting in and out. If you are less than 25 feet, no issues.

The park itself is very woody and right on the lake. They have kayaks, canoes and motor boats for rental, a great store and a restaurant on site as well as some outdoor games like corn hole. It is about an hour from Klamath Falls (where there are no falls) and Crater Lake. The staff and campers were all super friendly and worked hard to help the campers thus giving it a four star in my opinion. I definitely recommend it as a great stop if you are in the area and a strong driver.

Cell was good enough for us to work, but tended to go out occasionally or slow. We did not try the campground wifi which is available.
