“On the Bayou's of Dardanelle!”
Surrounded by the natural beauty for which the Arkansas River Valley is known, Lake Dardanelle is a sprawling 34,300-acre reservoir on the Arkansas River. These two water resources combined here have put this area into the national spotlight as a major bass fishing tournament site. Lake Dardanelle State Park offers two areas on the lake: one park site is at Russellville, and the other is located at nearby Dardanelle. Both the Russellville (main park) and Dardanelle locations offer camping (74 sites: Russellville--16 Class AAA, 13 Class AA, and 27 Class B; Dardanelle Area--18 Class B), launch ramps, standard pavilions, picnic sites, restrooms, and bathhouses with hot showers. The Russellville site also features a striking 10,527-square-foot visitor center on the lakeshore overlooking Lake Dardanelle. Engaging interpretive exhibits and state-of-the-art touch screen kiosks share information on the park, the area’s water resources and its history. A fascinating aquatic exhibit in the center features four aquariums that hold fish found in the lake, the Arkansas River, and its tributaries; Piney Creek, and the Illinois Bayou. Another unique facility in the (Russellville) main area is the park's 1,861-square-foot, fishing tournament weigh-in pavilion, a world class facility and the first of its kind in the nation that serves as a staging area for tournaments. Near the weigh-in pavilion is a covered, barrier-free fishing pier, a popular facility for bank fishing enthusiasts, sightseers and photographers with its sweeping view of lake and Mount Nebo to the south. The main park also includes a trail. Rental kayaks are available here. And, it's here that park visitors can enjoy nature programs on a wide variety of topics by park interpreters. NOTE: You do not have to be an overnight camping guest to enjoy the park's interpretive programs. Local residents, day visitors, and nearby Mount Nebo State Park visitors are all welcome..

My two grandsons and myself stayed here five days before Thanksgiving. There was only one other camper besides the camp hosts. The weather was fine, some rain, but we didn’t get washed out. Great place to fish, walk and relax. The two boys enjoyed riding their bikes. Rest rooms were very clean. The caretaker, “Thomas” took a lot of pride in his work and the park just shined.

Have only stayed here twice for one night only as we have stayed there traveling from Alabama to Yellowstone. We plan to come back and stay several days Everything is clean and well manicured. The private bathrooms were nearby which also contained a shower. So clean. Only one was open in a block of 4 due to Covid. We did not have cable but had water and sewer. Our site was on the lake and flat. It had a nice Jew including th Marina. We watched the activity with the boats. It was quiet. Sites well spaced. ATT service 1-2 bars. Did not try to stream.

We absolutely love this place. Lots of space between sites and the sites are angled so we barely see our neighbor. A few sites are right on the lake with an amazing view. We've been here four times and this is the first time we heard the train, far in the distance. We stay in Loop C with the 50 amp and sewer service, the sites are much closer together on the other two loops; Loop B is the better of the two. Sites in Loop C are paved with a concrete patio, picnic table and fire pit

We overnighted here enroute to our COE Did not use facilities so no comment. Nicely spaced sites. Not exactly level- would not have an issue with it except we did not unhook so could not life the front to get level.
Data on. Visible just had enough to stream Netflix on out mofi4500. Cricket had 1 bar. Did not bother to check others as we were just overnighted. Will come back

This is a top notch State Park with full hookups, great fire pits and picnic tables. The spaces are spacious and well-spaced apart especially in the A section. The best site in the whole park is #16, with #14 a close second. Both look out on the lake and #16 gets a full view with no view of neighbors. That said, all the even numbered spaces in A loop have lake views and great sitting areas outside. Our spot was across the road, but still great with views out front to lake and our sitting area behind looked out on the canal. The women in the front office were super sweet and helpful. And if you like to boat or kayak, this is a great lake with a few launch ramps. Highly recommend if you are in the area. There is a lot of great hikes in this area and only 1.5 hours from LIttle Rock.

Lake Dardanelle State Park has 2 campgrounds: Dardanelle and Russelville. Dardanelle is the smaller of the two. I think some of the photos and reviews here are for the Russelville CG. Dardanelle has only one loop and although some sites have a view of the lake there are no sites directly on the lake. There is a boat ramp, a playground, a restroom facility with 4 bathrooms/showers that was very clean. We camped here on a Sunday in April and there were only 3 other sites taken. No hiking trails.

Lovely place, but make sure to use the address 2428 marina rd, Russellville, AR to get there! We used the Campendium address and gps directions and ended up miles away. Stayed on site 36 and if you pull in instead of back in, it has a great lake view. Moved to #14 when it became available and it has a wonderful lake view plus 50 amp service instead of 30. Very nice people and grounds.

We spent one night here and really enjoyed our stay. The park is beautiful and well maintained. Lots of grass - no gravel, dirt or weeds. Plenty of spots to walk your dog, if you have one. There is a nice 3/4 mi walking trail, a swimming area with a small beach, a playground, and firewood for sale. We did the nature trail walk in mid-July and would probably advise against it due to the heat and humidity but other times of year I'm sure it would be very nice. The bathroom facilities were very nice with 6 large separate / private bathrooms. Each had a shower area with a separate toilet, sink and changing area. They were very spacious which is nice when traveling with children. The view of the lake is also very nice and peaceful. We thought $25 was a great value for how nice the campground was. Our site had water and electric, but no sewer hookup although some sites at the campground have sewer hook ups as well. We booked last minute (same day) so we were pleased to get any site. We would stay here again if in the area.
