This is an interesting campground. We were out in the field which is full hookups and has great views of the hills and forest. We were there in early August and had the place pretty much to ourselves during the week. Over the weekend, it filled up as there were softball tournaments and a rodeo nearby. The funny part is that the office and the rest of the campground are behind some trees and a railroad track. The train comes through just a couple times a day, during the morning usually so not an issue. Just be careful as do have to cross track to walk over to office or the amenities. In fact, you will drive to the office, then turn around to go to field if you are full hook up.

In the area nearer to the office, the campground goes up a hill with a lot of permanent or seasonals folks up the hill. There are some pull throughs that could handle a motorhome up the hill but most are fairly small and very shaded, lots of trees.Spot 141 which is 30 amp and water is a nice spot on the same level as office.
The pool and playground looked nice and the camp office is huge with an ice cream shop.

This is a great campground if you want to visit Corning Museum of Glass and that area and is only 30 minutes from Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake of the Finger Lakes.

First, I want to give a shout out to Jeri, who works in the office here. She is a delight and so wonderful. I wish I had started with her instead of making the reservation online. This campground is a bit quirky in its layout. It can accomodate big rigs, but in only a few spots. Unfortunately, the website does not always give accurate info. So CALL. Luckily, we were running late so I called to check how they handled late check ins. In doing so, I discovered that our booked site handles rigs up to 25 feet, a good ten plus feet too short. Jeri suggested we go into site 18 at least for first night, then we would figure it out. By the time we arrived, they discovered that 20 was vacant and put us there for the first three nights of our stay. Then we had to move to their "emergency" site of 10. Site 20 was lovely, right on the water. Site 10 was up in the trees with a view of the lodge so not as pretty. The key thing is that maneuvering this campground is tricky. You can do it in a 36 foot, but only if you are a sure driver. To get out of #20, we had to drive down a narrow passage, then back into a site to pull out forward, watching the whole time for poles, trees, and the mirror of one rig. Site 10 required equal dexterity in getting in and out. If you are less than 25 feet, no issues.

The park itself is very woody and right on the lake. They have kayaks, canoes and motor boats for rental, a great store and a restaurant on site as well as some outdoor games like corn hole. It is about an hour from Klamath Falls (where there are no falls) and Crater Lake. The staff and campers were all super friendly and worked hard to help the campers thus giving it a four star in my opinion. I definitely recommend it as a great stop if you are in the area and a strong driver.

Cell was good enough for us to work, but tended to go out occasionally or slow. We did not try the campground wifi which is available.

This is a great campground for trips where. you want peace amid natural settings. The campground is lovely with lots of trees. In fact, we understand that they didn't cut any when putting in the RV park which explains the sites being farther apart than most and a bit quirky in the placements. There is also a strange second campground on the opposite side of the road which includes long-termers, one who really likes Christmas and still had it all lit up in March. The staff is great and the resort has a pool and huge clubhouse where they encourage folks to set up their crafts. They also host several events a month for campers including a great burger cookout for the Super Bowl while we were here. My only issue is the location. We didn't mind being that far out from San Antonio or the HIll Country as it looked like we would be on a lake. Well, the lake is completely dry. Like not one drop. I am not sure if there are plans to fill it when rain comes as there seems to be a drought there now. So, we were a strong hour from San Antonio and 40 minutes from Fredericksburg. It takes 15 minutes just to get to highway from the winding road leading to the campground. So, check on the lake if that is key for your visit and just know that the nearest large grocery is a strong 38 minutes away. But if you want quiet and a friendly campground, this might be a great fit. Rate is based on a weekly rate.

We were not expecting to stay at Wallace, but found ourselves without a place to stay and high temperatures so called around for a camp with hookups. Wallace was only one to return our frantic calls and were so friendly. We were delighted with the location of this campground - within walking distance of town and next door to a restaurant and brewery. What could be better? The size of the slots! This area is a popular area for ATVs and they were parked all around the campground. Our neighbors had a couple as well as a tent that we just barely missed with our slide. The slots are tightly packed next to one another and the camp is just one road with slots on both sides. For our means, it was fine but it would have been upsetting to have no outdoor space if we had been staying longer. The campers and staff were super friendly and we loved the brewery!

This is a great state park. We stayed in the Cypress View campground. The other campground, Lakeshore, is a bit more primitive and the road leading in is rough. We did see larger Class As over there, but think Cypress is a better fit for most big rigs. The sites at Cypress also has better lake views especially those on the lake. I would recommend 43 and 41 as nice sized with view of lake outside your door. There is not sewer, but a convenient dump station. The sites are level with a picnic table and fire ring. Each site has plenty of room around it and lots of trees so you don't feel on top of one another. There is an easy bike or hiking trail that is at least four miles long through the trees. The town of Santee does not have lots going on, but has a couple decent restaurants. You are about 45 minutes from Columbia and the Congaree NP. It is a very peaceful campground with some fun looking cabins. And TONS of birds, great place to bird watch or just listen to birdsong.

This is a nicely sized and shaded campground with a lot of amenities and a lovely position right next to the river. The strange thing is that the RV portion of the park is all up against the wall and away from the river. It looks like the riverfront are for tents or smaller vehicles with no hookups.

The RVs are somewhat crowded together especially those that are in the middle section. We were in site 27 which is on the end, giving us a lot more room. The challenge with this site is that it is only 30 amp. The best site we thought was next to us, site 28. This one had access to a small "porch" (a small area next to the wall where you can hear/see the river and set up a few chairs) which made the site a bit larger.

The greatest thing about this campground is its proximity to Sequoia National Park and the cute town of Three Rivers with its brewery and couple of shops. We didn't get to take advantage of these much due to COVID rules. We did have AT&T cell but the internet ran VERY slow and the cell was spotty at times. To work, we had to go a half hour away to a coffee shop. I was surprised to find that our rate went up $22 to $76 for the Friday we were there.

While this campground feels like it is essentially in the middle of nowhere, it is actually convenient to several places as long as you don't mind driving - 45 min to Fresno and 1 and half hour from Yosemite NP. There is, however, a great grocery store and bar/restaurant within walking distance. The huge selling point to this campground is it's proximity and relationship to the next door golf course where you can golf a round for free and where the bar and restaurant offer a tempting closeness for nightly. happy hours!

The rate for the month made the daily rate pretty fair. The campground itself is super clean and nicely maintained. The lots are all owned by RVers then rented out so several have fancy grills and patio areas. There is a very nice pool and spa next to a nice pond that adds a lovely water feature. Several spots are right on the water. The best spots are on the long side of the pond across from the camp offices as they offer great shade. Our spot, #50, was right on a corner with great shade which made it possible for us to sit outside even when the temperatures reached 100.

I didn't use the laundry or go into the office area, but both looked nice. It is gated so felt very secure as well. Cell service was good though occasionally and seemingly random, it was very slow. We would reboot and it come back to normal.

Lots of campgrounds use the resort word and are not resorts in my opinion. This one is. It is a beautifully maintained campground with oleander trees, shrubs and a large pond. With Covid, we were allowed inside but the workout room and rooms inside looked nice. The outdoor pool was small but worked well to cool off and do my aerobics. There was also a small hot tub. The sites around the pond are premium, some with stamped concrete patios, but all the sites were roomy. We loved site 50 which was nicely shaded, especially since temps got to 100s. We were able to sit outside a lot of the day. The coolest factor of this campground is that next door is a golf course with a couple of restaurants. Your stay includes a round of golf per day. While we didn’t take advantage of that, we did enjoy the bar and restaurant several times. The residents were awesome and friendly.

The campground is concrete drives and sites so very level and easy to drive. The noisiest part of the camp is the birds as there are many, but not overly noisy. There are secure gates that are kept locked and you are given a remote to open. There is not much to Chowchilla but Fresno and a couple other towns are nearby with plenty of large stores such as Target and Walmart. You are about an hour from Yosemite here.

You know how all the RV parks have the Resort attached to their name and you cannot figure out why? This park definitely earns the name resort. It is an oasis of greenery, water and amenities in the desert. The town of Pahrump is not much in itself, though it does boast three wineries and some casinos, but it is the perfect distance between Las Vegas and Death Valley (both are easy day trips). It also has a large Walmart and fast food spots. The campground has a large indoor pool with regular water aerobics, volleyball and lap swimming times. They also offer multiple breakfasts, games and activities. It seems to cater to the seasonal RVer, especially those of a more mature age, it is very welcoming to the traveler and family crowd. Everyone from staff to resident was super friendly. And the grounds are very well kept including huge profusions of rose bushes, an adorable pond area with nearby playground, an exercise room and huge clubhouse. They even had a wood workshop and stained class workshop. If you are seeking a desert respite or stopover near two popular NV destinations, this is a great choice.

Do ask if you can stay in the Letter rows (A - D) as these sites seemed bigger. All the spots were well-kept and clean, just some were tightly packed. Our area on the 300 row, especially our spot, 321, was VERY tight with other RVs and there doesn't seem to be a price difference. That would be the only thing that detracted from our stay and my rating for this campground. We almost lost a mirror trying to avoid a rig on one side and tree on the other! However, most of the other sites looked MUCH easier to get in and roomier with shade trees frequently between spots.

This is a very nice campground with great staff. It is also one of the few campgrounds convenient to Boulder and Denver, That area really needs more campgrounds! Our site was more in the back where it is a bit more crowded. Last time, we stayed in site 114, that row feels more spacious. Know that most of their sites are buddy sites so your living room and your neighbor face each other. Not a bad thing, just something to know. There is a nice pool and clubhouse as well as a small putting green that would be great for kids.

The CG is off a very busy road, Eisenhower Blvd, which had a lot of construction so be very aware as you are looking for it. They are right behind the Mattress Firm store so watch for it. It is very convenient to stores within walking distance and a great trail area which connects to a bike trail that takes you to downtown Loveland.
