Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on October 02, 2023This was a fun stay. We’d stayed at this RVPark many, many, many years ago and I remembered it as being decidedly run down and funky, but what a difference all those years and new ownership can make! Situated in a narrow canyon along a babbling brook and within walking distance of the historic mining town of Wallace, Idaho, this park is clean, scenic, quaint and quiet. And there’s even a brew pub on the premises and super easy access to several biking trails.
The gentleman in the office was friendly and helpful upon our arrival and also a trove of information about the area. We took one of the back-in sites along the stream. There are also some pull through sites, but you will be backed up to the road, which is not a big deal since it gets little traffic during the day and even less at night. Be aware that all of the sites are pretty short and narrow. This is not a big rig friendly RV park in my opinion. People with larger trailers or 5th wheels had to parallel park their tow vehicles along the road in front of their rigs. If the campground was full, maneuvering into a spot could be challenging for some.
The owners are obviously proud of their park and everything was well maintained and clean. The bathhouse, with restrooms and showers, is accessed via a cute little foot bridge over the stream. There are also a few cabins to rent and tent campers are welcome too.
We had dinner at the brew pub and found the service pleasant and the food good, if not spectacular. They do have a varied menu so no matter what your dietary needs are, you’ll find something to eat. And of course, you can sample the local brew. Don’t miss Wallace itself - every building in the downtown core is on the National Register of Historic Places and there are plenty of places to eat and drink, etc.

Beautiful location. Sites are a little tight but nice facilities and friendly staff. I can't stress enough what a beautiful location and charming town this is.

Showed up at 12:30 pm. Friendly staff, no waiting. Space 8 is back in and backs up to a creek. Not a lot of room between sites. Enough to put your awning out all the way. All gravel except where rear tires are. Completely level cement pad. Quiet. No tables or benches. Easy walk to town. Only downside is the sewer hookup is at back of site. I have 29ft 5th wheel with center drain. Needed 2 hoses. Not a lot of trees on property. Just a nice place to rest while on way to somewhere else or just to stay to see town. Nothing for kids to do at site.

Nice location as it was just out of town but easily in walking distance.
The site were a nice width and length but the hookup location meant you had to drop the trailer and then park the truck on the non hitch side in order for cables to barely reach. There were no picnic tables.
Mosie, our dog, loved walking around the facilities and area. There are a couple grassy areas on the other side of the brew pub (right by the park but closed during our visit) and the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes was right there as well.

Had a nice stay in Wallace. Lots to see in this historic town, and easy highway access to explore the area. Half the sites back up to a creek. Rainy during our stay so will go back again to finish exploring the Hiawatha Trail.

Convenient location near I-90 and the quaint, picturesque hamlet of Wallace. The microbrewery on site has great beer and good food. The park itself is nothing to write about. Sites are very close but adequate. If you can get one that backs onto the creek, that would be preferable, but if not, roadside is “ok.” There is some road noise but the clean bathrooms and shower facilities plus the onsite microbrewery and the park’s proximity to the interstate and Wallace itself more than make up for the utilitarian sites. One more thing, I felt very safe here.

Tight Spaces and tight to maneuver in/out of sites, we have a 36’ A. Gravel with weeds between sites. No OTA TV signal, park is in a valley. Gravel road. Right outside a cute, Historic town near the Idaho/Montana border. Good restaurant right outside the park. Something to do is ride the Hiawatha Trail (bikes). I don’t think I would stay here again because it was so tight to maneuver.

Stayed here for a week to enjoy biking and hiking and the central location made it easy. Hiawatha trailhead just up the highway. A paved bike trail started a block away. Pulaski trail 2 mi away. Able to walk around retro looking downtown Wallace every day. Its grocery store had a good selection. Level sites with average spacing. RV park is located along a highway but few cars pass after dark. Owner is a very nice guy and on-site bar and grill offers take out. No TV channels and no WiFi at the site.

Busy RV park. Many campers come and go all the time we were there. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Fast, efficient check in. Central to much of Northern Idaho's recreational gems, i.e. Hiawatha Trail, Trail of the Coeur d'Alene, Pulaski Trail, Coeur d'Alene town and shops. The City Limits Restaurant is tops; The Fish and Chips are killer, the service is good and the prices and very reasonable for a resort town. It's the best RV Park choice for this part of Idaho. It's a bit noisy next to a forest access road and near I-90, otherwise it would be perfect.

We were not expecting to stay at Wallace, but found ourselves without a place to stay and high temperatures so called around for a camp with hookups. Wallace was only one to return our frantic calls and were so friendly. We were delighted with the location of this campground - within walking distance of town and next door to a restaurant and brewery. What could be better? The size of the slots! This area is a popular area for ATVs and they were parked all around the campground. Our neighbors had a couple as well as a tent that we just barely missed with our slide. The slots are tightly packed next to one another and the camp is just one road with slots on both sides. For our means, it was fine but it would have been upsetting to have no outdoor space if we had been staying longer. The campers and staff were super friendly and we loved the brewery!
