We stayed at Two Moon Campground in early May. Apparently, this is an awkward time: no camphosts and the entire staff was out of the park for training. Normally not a problem, especially for a Sunday and Monday night stay. But reservations are required for some sites, including all electric sites, beginning May 1, which was not obvious from the online information. We had to use Reserve America, because no one was there. We did, and had a very peaceful Sunday night. Monday we had an issue with another camper who claimed we had his site. It was resolved, but would have been easier if someone were there.
If you are in a larger rig, enter the campground at the third entrance. Most of the electric sites are near the road. None are really level, but we got close. Sites 25-29, 37, 45-48, and 50-53 are electric. Potable water is only available at the dump station at this time of year.
Campground is lovely. Mountain bikers abound on weekends. Lots of multiuse trails, but not a lot of information about them.

Missouri State Parks hosted a camphost training rally here that we attended. ( Rally was free for us, but we did pay for an additional night to explore. This park opened in the summer of 2016 . The RV section is well laid out. All sites are concrete with reasonable spacing. Trees have been planted, but they are very young, so shade is non-existent at this time. There is a lodge with rooms and a restaurant, as well as camper cabins. Tent spaces are all walk in and private, with platforms for your tent. There are carts at the parking area to help transfer your gear to your site.
At this time there are two hiking trails, and there are trails planned that would connect to nearby Current River State Park, and another to nearby wild area.
Although there is no Verizon service, AT&T is spotty in the campground, but reasonable near the lodge. BUT the WiFi here is better than any Park we've been to. There are several WiFi spots in the RV area, and one was right next to us. Glory Hallelujah!
Go slow on hwy 19 & 32 on the way. Both are windy and have little to no shoulder, but we were ok in a 36 foot motor home with a towed.

I was leery of this park after seeing poor older reviews elsewhere. Management may have changed; not only were they nice, but they supplied disposable gloves upon check in, and included a handwritten Thank You note in our packet.
The park was well manicured and laid out with two RV site utilities together and two front porches facing. Spacious in front; closer in back.
We were surrounded by very friendly Minnesotans. Not my favorite type of park, but very nice.

We just got here, so I’ll try to come back and update. However, I wanted to get this information in to prevent others from having a white knuckle experience. In an email, they (Philadelphia / West Chester KOA) send a small map and written directions, stating Do NOT FOLLOW GPS DIRECTIONS. Ok, so we followed the directions in the email. In the last 3ish miles, our roof got hit by low branches at least a half dozen times. The passenger side mirror also took quite a beating. We are not huge, at 36 feet. We are a motor home, not a big tall fifth wheel. Although big rigs may be ok in the campground, you really don’t want to drive here!

After calming down: The campground itself is big rig friendly. (although I would suggest beaming your rig there) The staff was very friendly. Dogpark is nice. Pool is very nice, and they employ lifeguards.

We needed a place to stay while visiting family nearby. The first place did not work out, which left me calling anyplace nearby. The third place answered the phone and had a site for us. The owners led us to the site and helped us get in (by that time it was dark). We were in an area with sites too close together, but level. There was a slow moving stream and grassy area behind the site where we hung out while not visiting. There are two little ponds and an area to walk behind the RVs. There are sites that are much nicer and well spaced, but those seemed to be inhabited mostly by long termers. The residents were quiet and nice; no partiers while we were there. The owners were visibly working on the park daily.

The park is in a little valley about a mile from the dam, where we walked every morning. We were able to easily visit relatives in nearby Wimberly and San Antonio. If needed, there are RV supplies available at the ACE Hardware store in Sattler, and more in New Braunfels.

Stopped here intending to use as a base for a day trip, but ended up staying in with a sick dog. There are two sides to the Park, separated by a huge common area. The first side includes the office and mostly run down permanent trailers. The other side is mostly pull-throughs for a quick in and out stay. Very close together.Sites are supposed to have full hookups, but the manager couldn't find our sewer.
The lady in the office was very nice, as were guests we encountered. Other than a very active railroad nearby, the park was pretty quiet

This is a large, clean Park populated mainly by seasonals. Lots of boats. They keep several pull through sites for short term visitors. The office is all the way in the back of the park. I didn't see any signs, but a sweet resident led me around. The people in the campground office were very nice and stopped by to help with a problem I was having with my rig. Neighbors were all very welcoming.

Staff, including the maintenance/security staff were all very helpful.
Security staff enforce rules, which apparently has given them poor reviews in the past. He was very nice and helpful to us.
This is a private RV campground that has been around for a while. Sites are mostly close together, mostly level. Some sites have gravel; some are just grass. The creek makes a "U" around part of the campground, so a popular activity is to tube from one end to the other and do it again. There is also a pool, playground, store, small grill, and miniature golf. Live music on weekends, and lots of activities.
We were ok there with some rain, but I expect heavy rain would be a problem from time to time.

Tried to camp here, but could not get in. Flooding last year took out most of their sites, leaving only 25 operational. This is a first come first serve park, so you will have to be lucky to get in. No one is allowed to even walk through the previously flooded areas, making the campground much smaller.

This lovely state park is almost right in town, but it looks like another world. Stopped here for the night, but would certainly stay longer if time permitted. The rate reflects a $2.00 discount, but I'm not sure what it was for. We do have disabled plates, so maybe that was it. Or my gray hair. Our site was a 50AMP pull through near the end of the park. Everything we saw was clean and well maintained. We had time to enjoy one of the nature trails; it was very nice, but if you have a canine hiking buddy, this would be a good time to put on the protective hiking booties if you have them. I pulled a bunch of evil stickery things out of one paw.
