Probably 4-6 inlets for this dump. People inside were really cool about it. Paid $5 cash and bought some other munchies. Paid first then dumped. Fairly clean, recently it had rained so the back lot was a bit muddy, gravel and concrete around the dump hole made it easy to keep your feet dry. Great experience.

Yes it’s free but we had dinner and did a bit of gambling so it wasn’t exactly free. But we had access to potable water, dump stations and trash. We were welcomed by security who took us to the front. Staff members held the door open for us. We got $15 in free play for signing up for a card. And the card gave us 5% off the meal. It’s just 10 miles east of I5 so that was nice. Much better than Walmart parking lots. All in all a very nice experience.

First off let me say the staff and support team were outstanding!!! I didn’t meet any person who gave us or anyone else an attitude. The price paid was $199 for the week regardless of whether you stayed one night or seven. We stayed for three. The lot is gravel but not much dust as it had been raining all week. Potential for dust was high at other times I suppose. There were portable toilets scattered throughout the area, trash was collected daily in front of your site. There were trucks at one end of the lot with showers available. A truck drove around daily and would empty out your holding tanks for an additional cost ($40) but we didn’t do that. The walk to the track was short. Many people had bicycles and such. Please check out my video review on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/wpCDIU_Sp6U

Enjoy!!!

Open flat area just east of the 395 is a great place to camp and kickoff your off highway vehicle experience. Plenty of flat spots for camping. Many undeveloped areas and plenty of trails. A good spot for riding to the pinnacles or just going around the the hillside. Close enough to Ridgecrest to run to Walmart for essentials but far enough that the stars are bright. A great place to camp for the night or two weeks.

Very nice spot. Road is a little rough but very doable with our 36’ 5er. Multiple points to stop with trees and prairie. Currently, June of 18, under extreme fire danger. No open flame allowed. Many standing dead pines so be very careful with the fires. A great place for a night or 14. 5 miles to McDonald’s and other civilization. Just be prepared for a bounce or two on the roads.

This is a National Park campground. I was under the impression that it was undisburst camping but it is $14 per night and you pay the $30 National Park use fee. There is a boat ramp area here but you will likely have to go to the Waheap area to unload and load your boat. The rangers will want to inspect your boat on the way out for fear of transplanting muscles. The campground is very sandy and the roads to and from are no exception. Many people got their cars and rigs stuck while I was there. Beautiful views and water access. But there are no reservations accepted and no sites. Grab what you can when you get there. The campground is located in Utah but right along the Arizona boarder. The clocks switch back and forth often as the two states are not on the same time all year long. Overall it is good but you have to know what to expect ahead of time.

Easy to maneuver. Free dump. But you cannot access the hose to rinse your tanks. It doesn’t allow you to unscrew their hose nor can you turn the handles. Just let’s you dump. Potable water is available at the this station only a few feet away with water hose and easy to use handle. Trash dump also available there as well.

If you have the $80 adventure pass or if you pay $30 for a 5 day pass you can dump for free. I couldn’t access the spicot to rinse the tank but I was able to fill my tanks with fresh potable water. Trash dumpster was also located in the same spot.

We stayed here in conjunction with a local event for one night. Trees needed trimming up a little higher. Spa was s bit off color and the pool table needed repair. Otherwise everything else was excellent.

The road in and out was ridiculously bumpy. It was not great for the RV. It has become washboarded. It would take a lot of work to make it smooth and would probably become washboarded again soon.
Knowing that we would return again. Just have to drive slow. If everyone drove slow it would probably help too.
The campground was nice. Has a snack bar too. The trash receptacles are still screwed shut forcing campers to take their trash to a larger bin. Some of the bathrooms were still closed. I suppose this is a product of covid and cutbacks in budget. But otherwise it is a very nice site.
