We've stopped here three times over the last year while driving up and down I-95. It isn't too far off of I-95, but not on-top of it either. It can be a little difficult to maneuver a longer rig due to trees (yay for shade), but easily manageable if you take it slow. Bathrooms have always been clean and working. Pool has been open and the kids have had fun. The walking trail near the lake is nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even had a community campfire going on the Friday nights we've been there, which was great because we didn't want to make a fire just for a couple of s'mores for us.

We stayed here a few nights July 2020, the campground is quite small. The pool was tucked away and wasn't used due to COVID-19. While the drive up to our pad was hilly, the pad itself was surprisingly level. Overall, the campground was clean. The road to the campground was a bit curvy, but nothing out of the ordinary for Blue Ridge Mountains. It was a bit difficult to navigate our rig around the campground, but the staff was helpful.

About as expected when camping near water, there were a ton of bugs. The staff first had us pull into the wrong site as they didn't know which one our site was. Every night at dusk there were a ton of bugs - we'd spend 20 minutes killing all of the ones that manages to get inside when we opened the door to head to bed at night. Over half the campground is permanent residents and it seemed like the past time was to cruise around in golf carts. The playground was closed due to COVID-19, much like many of their other amenities. The staff was nice and the campground was clean. Quite noisy due to the train tracks you have to cross to get down to the campground.

We stopped over here while traveling I-95 July 2020. It was a nice RV park, easy to get to from I-95. Beautiful view of the lake. Our kids had a blast swimming and playing on the playground. Campground was clean and the staff was very helpful.

We camped here late Aug 2020 and plan to return Labor Day 2021! While the sites are fairly narrow, they are very deep - your picnic table area is behind your camper so you can enjoy the view. Our kids loved the playground and all of the activities. We took part in the photo scavenger hunt, community fire & s'mores, and slip 'n' slide. It is big and you'll definitely enjoy having a golf cart to get around. We rented kayaks and had a blast rowing around the sound.

We spend 4th of July 2020 here, our site was in the newer section so didn't have trees really between the sites and no shade. But we were in the back corner so we had a view of the untouched forest and no other campsites - so that was neat! Our son enjoyed the pool. We didn't take advantage of any of the other amenities. The staff was great, they brought a fire ring and set it up when we requested one.

We stayed here Memorial Day weekend so it was a bit more expensive than other weekends. But had a great time. The kids loved the pools (2 pools plus splash pad/pool/slides). A couple arts and crafts (kids and adults) or science experiments each day.

Be prepared for golf carts everywhere. They discourage using your vehicle except to enter and exit the resort, so golf carts are an easy way to get around. Rentals are available on site, or you can bring your own for a small daily fee.

T-mobile in the interior of the park was non-existent but as you move towards the outskirts it picked up to 5G. AT&T through LTE modem was functional but slow.

We stayed here Sep 2020 for VKR weekend and 4th of July 2021 and will be back again in Sep 2021. Our kids absolutely love the gravity rail. The campsites where the trailers are parked are level, but we did notice our site dropped down a bit once you got off the pad this summer. Bathrooms have always been clean. The petting zoo is always a fun treat. The walking trail is a pretty neat and relatively short hike. Overall, a great park and close to Williamsburg. The only issue we had originally was our GPS sent us to their extended stay section rather than their short term stay section which was about 0.5 mile down the road.

We stayed here Halloween 2020. Our kids had a blast with pumpkin painting, site decorating, and trick or treating. Sad to see it leave the Jellystone family, but glad to see quite a few of the amenities are staying. Overall, campground was clean and staff was great! Our site had a private bark park which was awesome with our four-legged friends.

Our family stayed 3 nights here while we visited LegoLand. The pool was open and our kids enjoyed it. The spot was a little tight to get in and out of, but nothing too difficult. While the concrete patio was a bit worn, the site was level. We had no issues during our stay, the staff was polite. The walkway to Walmart was nice so we didn't have to drive over to grab a few things we had forgotten.
