Very convenient to US-50, just turn in and go to the top of the hill and turn right, trail 74 or left 72. We went beyond the river near the canyon but it was a mistake with our 30 ft TT.

We like being alone and enjoyed this stay. We were even able to get local tv stations

Unbelievable!!

Easy to get to and nice campground around the Lake. Several entrances to the park which has several boat ramps. The water is down at this time of the year so the Elk Horn campground ramp was closed. We were on our own here and enjoyed the quiet and serenity of this site!

Primarily an access problem. Southbound at exit 143 you can exit but need to get in the left lane quickly on FL 78 because of traffic, then lots of traffic to get back on Southbound or Northbound during early morning and late afternoon. Do not use this facility if you plan to go West on FL 78, Bayshore, no left turns and no easy place to do a u turn.

We found a beautiful flat spot 8.7 miles from 1-10, we came in from the Ehrenberg side and the road loops back to the I-10. It’s desert but the high was 88 and low tonight will be 54. The road is paved but broken up in places. We have been on far worse! Mountain vistas all around our campsite. We can see I-10 but certainly can’t hear it this far in.
Spending some time cleaning up messes left by those without any respect or understanding of nature’s beauty!

Excellent location and awesome facility which continues to have new attractions added. If you have young kids, you will not be unhappy with the nightly rate! For us grand folks, it’s great to see the kids having fun here and there is no lack of attractions for us in Savannah and the management is very friendly and accommodating!

We booked way ahead for 28 days at $58 a night and arrived a few days before Labor Day and the resort filled up for the weekend which we expected. There was a power outage for two nights in our area and we needed our generator because it was really hot. The resort emptied out this morning on Labor Day. Today the lap pool was not looking good and maybe it was because of the power outage but it looks like algae to me so we stayed out of it and let management know there is a problem. Maintenance checked it out and called the pool guys who will probably address it tomorrow, in the interim, I requested an upgrade to a site closer to facilities since Nickie has trouble walking long distances. Instead of honoring my request they comped us for one night at the daily rate of $100 for the power outage. Which they also did for the weekend warriors. But they lost the opportunity to please a long stay customer

Resort is full level slab parking and pull throughs with excellent facilities and a welcoming staff. An adult section with full amenities was perfect for us and provided a separate pool and recreation amenities. Cabins are available at $119 per night. The $58 fee for RV is worth every penny!

An old resort but well maintained! Sites are tight but manageable. Key is location, location, location! Office staff warn you not to follow gps location because of a low bridge and railroad crossing however Passport America directions are not specific enough, like “take 35 or 37”. Should be take South 35 or South 37 exit at S Military Drive, turn left on Roosevelt Drive. GPS from The North on I-10, work just fine. When I suggested they might want to contact PA to improve the directions they dismissed the suggestion stating that they are not responsible for PA directions. We have used Sunresorts a lot this year so that was disappointing! The directions Travelworld sent us via email were fine however we were en route and it was not available to us

This is a great spot if you have a 4 wheel off-road vehicle and you are not a senior. Very easy to get stuck and the wind can stir up a dust storm. It is a very popular place so don’t expect to be alone
