Stayed 5/22 and 5/23. It’s a great location. Walking distance to grocery and hardware stores. Gas is only a couple miles away. Trees shading the RV spots. Beautiful scenery. Water spigots and dump station at the RV lot. Other solo RV women there so felt very safe. Couldn’t find a donation box. BUT… I had to carry my dog to the road to walk her because of all the prickers on the ground. Even taking shoes off still got prickers in my rig. The only way I’d stay there again is with a pair of slip on shoes I could leave it outside my rig

It’s a very pretty park with lots to do. Spent 1 night, 6/11/23. Lots of cars going by/through the camping area at night so it was noisy. Chiggers in the grass, and when I mentioned it to a worker in the morning, he said they need to spray again. It was OK for an overnight but next time I’ll stay somewhere else.

I stayed here 9/18/23 to 9/21/23. Very nice campground and very well kept. Beautiful beach area. Very nice people including a park ranger (Jay) who came to my campsite and assisted me when the electric tongue jack stopped working on my trailer. It’s an older model without easy access to raise or lower it manually. He showed me how to take apart to access the manual component. He saved me from having to call an emergency RV repair place.

I stayed Aug 18 - 24 2023. It’s a beautiful little park with walking trails and a pioneer style Village to explore. Gas station about 3 miles away. Bathrooms were all clean. No other campers when I was there, but several day use cars showed up. It was very muggy with no breeze. No cell reception for either T-Mobile or Verizon. Had to drive up to the main road for service. The spots didn’t look capable of handling a great big rigs, but medium sized should be OK. The park staff I met were all very nice.

I stayed 9/1 to 9/4 2023. The campground feels like USACE is giving this back to nature. Loop C is closed to all access and looks like it has been for quite a while. Loop D is close to motor vehicle access. There’s only one place for water available, on loop E and it’s a manual/hand pump. Pit toilets are reasonably clean. Some of the sites need picnic tables replaced. I found out the day I left that you can go to Willow Bay Campground (6 miles away) to shower. And the whole area is mostly shade, but there are a few sites on Loop E that look like they get enough sun for solar use. Because of the forest, it’s not bright sunlight. It’s a great place if you want that completely back to nature feel and don’t mind the lack of sunlight

I stayed 10/8 to 10/10 in one of their electric spots ($40/night) and 10/10 to 10/17 in one of their nonelectric spots ($24/night). It’s a Great Campground and very well-maintained. The pit toilet in the non-electric loop wasn’t great, but the rest of the campground had flush toilets and nice showers everywhere. They had a laundry room with two washers and two dryers but I didn’t use it. Lots of wildlife on the nonelectric loop in the morning and at dusk. Access to and in the park is easy. My only disappointment is that Wellsboro is 15 miles away, and the nearest Walmart is 21 miles away. Couldn’t find a grocery store in Tioga.

I stayed here 10/9/23 to 10/14/23 (2 different sites). Bathrooms were clean. Showers had lots of hot water and good water flow. Staff in the Park office was very nice. Lots of shady spots. The road in (Indian Creek Rd) is somewhat narrow with edges that drop off quickly but I did see semis using it. Playground areas for family camping.

I stayed here on 9/24/2023. They have RV and truck parking behind the car wash across the street, but when the young men, so I have trouble walking, he allowed me to park by the fence near their gas pumps. The food in the restaurant is reasonably priced and gas was cheaper than surrounding stations. The breakfast sandwiches sold in the convenience store are fresh and tasty. Some road noise because I was by the fence instead of the regular RV lot but as a woman alone, I felt very safe.
Stayed here 10/3/23 to 10/6/23. Clean and quiet. Nice shower rooms. Generously sized sites. Close to Wilmington to get to museums, etc.
