Camping here is OK. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Most of the sites are very tight. It was quiet and safe and a good place to do laundry and have hookups, but not a great value at nearly $50.

Lake? What lake? I called to ask for a site with lake access for kayaking and shore fishing with the grandkids. I was told that the lake was low, but I was NOT told that the lake was 95% GONE. I was also not told that my guests would have to pay $6 each. We decided to visit with them elsewhere.

Launching the kayaks meant a struggle through mud that was 2 feet deep at times for long distances until there was enough water to float a kayak. We spent an hour cleaning boats and gear and still have mud stains to clean. Plus, the stagnant water had a bad stench even in March.

The park was OK if you ignore some of the junky buildings and permanent RVs. views would be nice if there was water in the lake. The staff was very nice which was the only plus. Fees should be half considering the lake issue.

This campground and beautiful and very well kept. Many of the sites are very spacious and some are in site of the beautiful Sagit River which is glacier fed from the mountains of North Cascades. The camp host was helpful and the campground was quiet. We loved our stay.

Western fires and smoke caused a change in our plans which lead us to Twin Falls. With bikes and kayaks in tow we are always interested in places to cycle and paddle safely. Rock Creek RV Park was a great find and value at $20/night with electric and water, and because it does not take reservations it worked great with our change of plans. A county run park, Rock Creek and the small canyon where the park is located is a wonderful oasis in an otherwise plain part of the county. The canyon is lush and green with a variety of trees and plants with a flowing creek running through the middle. There are several pedestrian bridges connecting both sides of the creek and the paved multi-use path across from the campground. They are RV only and have both 30amp and 50amp hookups. There is no dump on site but a free dump is less than a mile down the road. The location is close to the 500' deep Snake River Canyon where we went for wonderful views, waterfalls, kayaking and cycling on the 7 mile long canyon rim trail (see "Traillink.com" for details.). On most calm and clear days visitors can watch base jumping take place from the bridge near the Twin Falls visitors center.

This campground is small with only 9 sites, but it is a great location near the Hoh Rain Forest and it is free! Easy short access from Hwy. 101 15 miles south of Forks, WA. Must have a Dept. of Natural Resources "Discovery Pass" which can be purchased where fishing licenses are sold. First come, first served and there is a 7 day max. stay. Some sites suitable for big rigs, one with a pull thru access, and others well suited for tents. Most are on the Hoh River which is glacier fed in warm dry months from Mt. Olympus. Sites include fire ring and picnic table. Verizon 4G LTE 1 to 2 bars and 4 bars with Weboost RV65. Wonderful campground!

Just 2 miles from the West Yellowstone entrance, this was a wonderful alternative to camping in the park since COVID closed almost all campgrounds inside Yellowstone. West Yellowstone has food, fuel, hardware, groceries and lots more to offer. The Campground has some elect/water sites and some dry. First come first served can require patience, but the camp hosts were the best ever and helpful in finding a spot. Some noise was heard for sites near the highway and some noise came from planes taking off as the campground is near the airport. 1 to 2 bars from Verizon 4G LTE but a solid 3 bars with Weboost RV65 properly oriented toward the south cell tower.

We like flexibility in our travel schedule and therefore we love First Come, First Served (FF) camping, however, sometimes this can be frustrating waiting for someone to leave and beating others to the newly available campsite. Gros Ventre does this better. Call ahead and they will tell you when to arrive in order to get a site. Wait in line until they open and the volunteer camp hosts handle the process very well. They work to get you into a well suited site for you and in a timely manner.

The location to the Tetons, bike trail, Jackson, Mormon Row and wildlife is great! Even cycling inside this large flat campground was enjoyable. It is common to see Moose, elk, bison, and even bears in the campground although we had to drive elsewhere to see these. We even got to watch a lone wolf hunt a heard of pronghorns for over an hour just 2 miles from the campground. The entire experience was wonderful except for the 5th wheel neighbor who insisted on running his generator after hours . . . even after a visit from a ranger. Please don't be like this guy!
