Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on April 27, 2024Water and electric (30 and 50amp). No sewer, but there is a free dump station within a mile. Could use a little freshening up like more trees/landscape/grass around some of the campsites, but for $15, not a huge deal breaker especially with cutbacks etc. It was quiet at night and the hosts are very friendly. There are two entrances, one is for the park/playground and there is a specific RV entrance which is marked as such. Turn in the one marked RV. Don't worry, if you enter in the wrong one (like we did in our 40' 5er) you can turn around. We got 4 bars of boosted Verizon and 4 bars of AT&T. Dog friendly too. Paths for walking and bike riding.

I spent about 45 min trying to find the place. Now that I am here I asked my GPS and it gave me this address: 900 Addison Ave W, Twin Falls, ID 83301 The turn is NOT easy to see and even then it's a bit confusing how to get down to the park.
It's a small park. See website for pictures. http://www.twinfallscounty.org/parks/parks/rock-creek/ I would have stayed longer but I needed good internet. I pulled in some emails and got some internet but it was slow, slow, slow. The campground is reclaimed land in kind of a low area with high walls on some sides. It is mostly pretty and grassy although the pull through sites at the end are bare of trees. It also appeared to be a place to go for the teenage set to meet. There were three other campers when I got there around 2 PM and then I saw two others in the pull through sites. Some folks seemed to be fishing as there is a creek. Pit toilets, no showers. No dump.
It is a bit off the beaten path from I-84 but I liked it. Grassy, trees and pleasant.

It's not super easy to find this place. It's NOT Rock Creek Park (day use only, and not big-rig friendly). It's Rock Creek RV Park, just east (over the river) of Rock Creek Park. The entrance is located at 42 33’51.10″ N, 114 29’58.00″ W.
You'll have to go down a rather steep hill to get to the RV parking, which was under construction but still partially open when we visited in the spring of 2015. But that's where the negatives stop.
There are pull-thrus and back-ins, and all are close to the water. Water and electric are provided at the sites, which are extremely reasonably priced. There are also toilets by the campground (no running water, as I recall). There is a camp host to assist if you have any issues, as well as a self-serve pay station.
We saw some wildlife, including lots of songbirds and some timid marmots that sunned themselves by the creek. Also, the walking path along the disc golf course is absolutely not to be missed, traveling through the scenic Deadman Gulch.
Make sure you head into town to see Snake River Gorge and the waterfalls for which the town is named. A nice way to experience the Gorge is with dinner during sunset at the restaurant Elevation 486.

A very beautiful campground. Well maintained, gorgeous landscape and wonderful walking paths. The park resides in an old quarry. There is no sewage, which is the only downside for a long stay. Very quiet. Close to town. Long pull thru and some back in sites too. Will definitely return.

While hard to find - I recommend reading Ardent Campers review. There is no RV's that can be seen from the street. The entrance is between a rock quarry and a company that sells mobile homes. The road in does not look like your typical entrance - down a hill. But once you descend into the park it is very cute. Small, clean and a great little find.
Power and water at each site. There is no dump located on site. There is an onsite manager and the website provides their phone number. I would recommend making a call to confirm spots are available. It is a small park and I did notice the manager holding some sites. I also was able to chat with him and get confirmation on where we were headed.
Site are close, but not too close. The back in sites have more space and only 30amp power. The views are of surrounding green grass - all well maintained. Paths lead off into the park.
Rock chucks all over the park providing a little entertainment.
Verizon 4g was great and we were able to stream with no issues.
Stores are close by and convenient. A trip to the visitor center is recommended. Base jumpers are often at the bridge. A trip to Shoshone Falls is well worth it. We ate at level 58 and had a great meal on the patio with excellent views.

Not too much to add beyond what other reviewers have said. Great place to stay, fantastic city park you are camping in, clean toilets, and a great value. Camp hosts were really nice. Good location as everything in Twin Falls is a relatively quick drive.
Google maps took us right to the place. Just follow the signs - there is a loop road through the campground, so I recommend you drive the loop to spot the sights, then head back to the entrance to grab the spot you want. Plenty of spots available when we were here on April 29. No dump site, but there is a free dump not too far away as the camp hosts informed us. Sites are paved, but not necessarily level, so have some blocks available. We only stayed 1 night, but would definitely stay again. Only thing to watch out for is people not picking up their dog poop I'm there grass!

People at the Visitor Center told us about this place. Does not look like an RV park at first. Pretty steep hill coming in and going out. Once down, very easy setup. Camphosts very friendly. Right along a swift moving small river. Lots of small critters. Great walking path. Nice little find!!

This water/electric park is small and operates on a first come, first serve basis. None of the site offer sewer hook-up, nor is there an on-site dump station. A few blocks away there is an RV park available for fee usage. Vault toilets onsite as well.
The hosts are longtime volunteers and bring a very informal, laid back vibe which worked well for us. There are essentially two sections for camping ... the first being more traditional with back-in sites and grassy areas between each site. These sites are medium length; we barely had room even when parking the truck perpendicularly to the trailer. Most sites are not level.
We stayed in site 9 which I think is one of, if not the best sites, offering a large side yard.
The other camping "loop" is essentially a parking lot that will easily accommodate 35-40 foot rigs. As with most parking lot sites, don't expect much, concrete, water, and electric. Conveniently located auxiliary parking is also available.
One really nice feature is the immediate proximity to the broader city park - complete with lots of grass, paved walking trails, and many families of marmots.
Cellular and data connectivity was good (under boost) for our full-time digital needs.

$15 for water/electric, easy access to town. No reservations, but we arrived on a Monday and there were several sites open. Mixture of pull-thru and back-in sites, mixture of 50 and 30 amp sites. Pretty quiet, but there was a high school track meet taking place in the park one afternoon, which made it noisier and more crowded than usual. It's a pretty good park for only $15!

The dogs like this park because there is a lot of grass. It's not necessarily at your site, but there are some trails along the creek to walk and they're surrounded by grass.
It doesn't look like much when pull in to the entrance, but as you head down into the park it gets much nicer. There are two sections of campsites. We were in the back where there are two rows of sites. There the pull throughs are 50amp and the back row is 30amp. There is water at the sites, but no sewer or dump station. There is a public dump not too far away.
It is a county park and there was a cross-country meet on the Wednesday we were there. The kids ran each day before that. I don't know if it was in anticipation of the meet or their normal practice area.
FYI: The falls of Twin Falls are turned to a trickle after Labor Day to keep enough water in the reservoir.
Verizon was 40 down and 25 up. AT&T was 65.5 down and 9.37 up.
