When I arrived all the spots with hookups were full but they agreed to let me dry camp there for a very reduced rate. Good views of mountains from my spot. Some road noise. Not bad.

I pulled in at 8 pm and there were already 4 vans here plus at least 4 larger RVs, with I’m guessing more to roll in. I called ahead and they were very welcoming and nice. Definitely can hear the road noise but it’s generally off in the distance and I’m guess will fade as it gets later even though it is Saturday night. Obviously it’s a parking lot so no views but I’m getting 4 bars of Verizon. Even though Albuquerque is supposed to be 5G I’m not getting that here but strong signal inside the van (and I do not have a booster). Will try to update later.

I don’t know what it’s supposed to be here, but there was just a steep hill with a gate at the end of it. That was a lot of driving for no joy

Note the dump is out of order. You might want to call and check if that is your main reason for coming. I called ahead and was told to park in the north lot. As others have said there are slightly sloped RV spots but I was all alike in my 19.5’ van. Very nice staff. As others have said, lots around here to walk to for food, etc. Good camping section in the store. It is a parking area in a busy suburban feeling area so there is some noise but not bad at all. View of snow-capped mountains out my back window :-) and Verizon 5G 4 (=full) bars!

As others have said, nice for an overnight. It was 9° when I got here late at night. Woke up to a muted sunrise above the lake. Very quiet.

Pulled in late and slept. All I needed was quiet and I got it! Woke to birds singing—nice! Some gravel road on the way down here.

This rest stop has a spigot close to the parking area. I actually went to the one going the other direction but drove by this one too to check. I couldn’t figure a way to make it possible for a hose but filled up my gallon containers and put a few into my van’s tank manually. If I don’t find a possibility for water fill up with a hose connection, I’ll be back! The spigot is just past the main pathway into the bathrooms. Bathrooms are decent. Decided not to stay there because of overbearing trucks running noise.

This is a really nice service to have a rest stop! I wish more rest stops would do it. For some reason the water was off when I was there. Also there is no system to hook up to flush while you’re dumping. There is a fill but it’s after the dump. And there was a line, two rigs ahead of me. Thanks to kind fellow campers I did get flushed but be warned if you need water to dump well and your H2O tanks are empty. So I took one star off for the lack of water. Otherwise it’s clean and nice and great great service!

Thanks to spyonmeandmyrv I have some water tonight! I was having trouble finding water in the Flagstaff/Sedona area. This rest stop has a spigot close to the parking area.
