We stayed here for the night. It was easy to find, easy to get to. Right off the freeway but the noise was faint. The views are just incredible!

They’ve got really good parking, quite, away from the highway. Lots of open spaces and you can dry camp up to 5 nights in a row. They’ve got a gas station across the street with inexpensive gas and a great easy set up even for big rigs.
We loved it here. The price was good for power and water. Free sewer dump there. Very friendly. Great bathrooms with clean shower stalls. The only bad thing we have to say is the train is VERY loud and goes off all night so not recommended if you’re a light sleeper.
We had a site across from the park.
1. The pool was cold but refreshing on a hot day. They had a slide open all year and one slide open for a short time on the weekends.
2. They had free soft serve ice cream cones on Friday. That was cool.
3. The beach was close are really amazing!
4. The sites were small but clean and easy to park.
5. We had a couple rough nights because the teenagers were so loud at the park, we were across from it. Which was nice for our kids but in the middle of the night, that was obnoxious.
6. The staff was really polite but there was a $60 accommodation fee on top of the regular price.
7. The bathroom and shower facilities were really nice.
We would go back for sure. :)

I was really excited about this spot. It was stunningly beautiful and perfect. Until it got dark. Then the mesquitos came out. Sooooo bad. Everywhere. Then morning came and the sunrise was amazing! Our dogs got to play in the water and the water was warm even at 7:30 am. We got the boogy boards and headed out. After about 20 min my son, daughter and I started feeling stings all over our body. It was horrible! Turns out it was sea lice. It was bad enough for us to leave. Cool experience but I wouldn’t go for the swimming. Fishing probably but we weren’t set up for that. The flies were biting too!
I would probably go back another time of the year to see if it was just a bad time. The views are amazing though. I have mixed feelings. The sting from the lice were pretty horrific for us all.

It was overall a good campground, but the train ran every 20 min all day and night. I did a full campground review on my YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/LW8XwQhrI6k
