An older park, close to anything you could need just a few miles away. The park could use some TLC, just looks like they have a limited budget to keep up with tasks, quite a few long term rv's here. Staff was nice, and everything worked. Not flashy, but not trashy either, just a basic park

Maybe we just hit it at the wrong time, or had the worst possible spot? Somehow the road next to the old work shed is designated as a RV site, I can't recall the site number but it was a double letter. We wanted to stay a week here, but after seeing our site, we decided to only stay one day. The bathrooms were not good for us, and they had a problem with the water, so there were signs not to use the water, therefore no laundry etc. This looks to be a park for full timers, as you can see the sites were well decorated and the rv's did not look like they had moved for years. they did have a few spots for travelers. No real features to speak of. I don't think we'll be returning. Hope your experience will be better than ours.

Set up as our home base for 4 months. We are monthly so i don't know the daily rates, but you can assume standard full service/facility rates here. We've been really happy here, great neighbors, and the staff has been fantastic. Our stay has been fall and winter, which has been really peaceful considering how large this facility is. I think around 300 sites total. In the summer this will be packed with families, with kids so keep that in mind. There are many options for kids to play, and they do set up activities to keep them busy. The only thing we see that could use a major improvement is the store, which is quite small and has a limited selection of food, but they do have the basics in case you run out. Groceries are nearby 10 minute drive. Some sites are pavement, others gravel. some more level than others so bring plenty of blocks. South side lower area (near playground) is busier with kids, on the hill not so busy, North side is more wooded, feels more like camping. Cabins of different sizes are everywhere, and look to be in great condition. Overall the owners here do a great job, this is a huge facility and it's run about as good as anyone could expect. Bathrooms are clean, pool and hot tub are well maintained as well. We watch the workers do daily tasks here, they are really on top of it.

Check in was easy, they use a controlled gate at entrance with keycard. They have a nice store with RV essentials, some food items (basics) retro toys for kids and the best (only) retro soda collection I've seen in a park, plus coffee and pizza.
Sites were level and it's nice to have some trees around. This actually feels more like camping, and i'm sure in the summer months it's filled with kids and activities, so if you have kids, probably a nice place to go. For a more quiet experience just do the off summer months and you will be fine.
The owners are very nice and run a good operation. Laundry was clean and all machines functioned (i think they were new), nice machines! Showers were clean.
less than 1/4 mile is a really nice grocery store, and a breakfast, and Italian restaurant.
Also close to most of the RV Manufacturers if you want to tour a few facilities

We tried this park from a personal recommendation from a ABQ Resident. Check in was easy, and the staff were very nice, They have a small store with Groceries and RV Supplies, also a nice Gift Shop too. The Showers (A+) and bathrooms were nice and clean. All Laundry machines were in working order and clean. Sites were nice and wide and level, with a nice table for dining. A chopped rubber surface in the dog park (A+) was a nice feature. The coolest feature is they serve a Continental Breakfast, Coffee, Bagels, English Muffins, Danish, Hard Boiled Eggs, OJ, Yogurt, Waffles and Cereal (just like hotels) without the pancake machine! That was crazy good and sure made up for the higher rate. The only negatives we see are things out of their control, like Highway 40 Traffic noise, and wind. The park is close to a loves for easy fill ups, and you'll need to go a few miles for any real grocery shopping. Caution for those driving 3/4 - 1 Ton Pickups. Albuquerque is a Hot Spot for Vehicle Thefts (2nd in the nation currently) and they have been targeting Diesel Pickups, so be very careful. The Park seems very safe, but don't leave your truck in downtown unless you have eyes on it, or a passenger waiting. This is real, not fear mongering.

Sorry we had to leave, just got set up and looked at the weather radar, we booked out of there! Nice people, site was not that great for a KOA, but we got level. Good Power etc. Nice store, and they have Pizza. Close to an outlet mall, and other shopping. Wish we could have stayed!

We were here in the spring of 2017, nice young woman greeted us, and directed us to out site, they just had done some site improvements, so we had a perfect spot. We did not use any of the facilities, so no comment on that. Close to downtown, and right next to a convenience store of you need a few things.

I'd stay again if no other place was available. It's in a strange spot to the left of the gas station. Our site was way off level and super tight, but it's close to the casino and restaurant (great steak), and there is the gas station with food, etc. Was most likely built way before we had larger rv's. If you have a 25 foot or less, you'll be fine

After a bad day at another local park, this was a welcome change! What a nice little gem this is, if you're just traveling the Interstate and need a quick stopover, or staying for a while like we did. You can tell this was designed by an RV'r. 80% Pull Through, with the most level gravel we'll ever see. They run a screen through like you see in Baseball after each RV leaves, so it's perfect for the next guest. The bathrooms are great and showers are individual rooms, clean as a whistle. There is a small gym, Hot tub, and nice lounge area behind the Main building. Full laundry, all machines worked! The Main Building also has a beautiful small gift shop with local salsa, etc. No onsite groceries, but a 2 minute drive get's you across the highway to a huge Walmart, There is a really nice RV shop within a few hundred feet if you need a repair, or parts.
The best part of this park for us was the proximity to Mesilla, where we spent much of our time riding our bicycles to. A nice historic town with small shops, eateries, St Clair Winery where I had the best damn meatloaf! and without a doubt the best barber shop " Cheeky Chaps" . We also took a trip to Hatch, but bypassed Sparky's and ate at another local restaurant, and of course got some fresh Green Chili Power that will hold us for the next year! The only downside I can see is there is noise from the Highway.

I won't go into too much detail (see our previous review). Still a great place to stay, and visit the area. This time we went to White Sands. A fun trip for sure. 5 Stars all the way
