Stroll the river walks in Mishawaka and Elkhart or go rafting on the East Race Waterway in South Bend. Back at KOA, enjoy shaded level RV Sites with cable TV (56 channels), free Wi-Fi, spacious Deluxe Cabins and cozy Camping Cabins. This is the KOA with the gelato bar - and Hunt Brothers Pizza too! Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 75 feet. Your hosts: Thomas Jetzer & Patricia Schenk-Jetzer.
Great folks. We showed up with no reservation at 9:30pm. They had no open spots but saw we had been on the road a while and cleared a spot for us they had there personal RV parked in it. They went out of there way to guide us to and into the spot. I can not say enough how great they are. Clean with some fun things to do. They also cooked us a quick meal. So happy people like this are still around.
We had a reservation for one night. Patricia was wonderful on local suggestions. We went to the Studebaker National Museum and drove around the Notre Dame campus. These sites are extremely close together. I was concerned about all of the parked cars pulling out of our site the next morning, but thankful the campers across from us moved their camper. The restrooms were clean. Our major issue was the close proximity to the train tracks, so close our camper vibrated when the trains went buy at all hours of the night.
What am incredible experience. We arrived after dark and were escorted to our site. They were incredibly friendly, offered restaurant recommendations and gave us all the information we needed to know about the campground. The electrical setup was first class. We highly recommend this campground.
What an amazing beautiful place …. Picture perfect ….
Absolutely wonderful campground! I wish we’d stayed longer.
Called to place a reservation and 1 night was $81. Wow.
