We tried this park from a personal recommendation from a ABQ Resident. Check in was easy, and the staff were very nice, They have a small store with Groceries and RV Supplies, also a nice Gift Shop too. The Showers (A+) and bathrooms were nice and clean. All Laundry machines were in working order and clean. Sites were nice and wide and level, with a nice table for dining. A chopped rubber surface in the dog park (A+) was a nice feature. The coolest feature is they serve a Continental Breakfast, Coffee, Bagels, English Muffins, Danish, Hard Boiled Eggs, OJ, Yogurt, Waffles and Cereal (just like hotels) without the pancake machine! That was crazy good and sure made up for the higher rate. The only negatives we see are things out of their control, like Highway 40 Traffic noise, and wind. The park is close to a loves for easy fill ups, and you'll need to go a few miles for any real grocery shopping. Caution for those driving 3/4 - 1 Ton Pickups. Albuquerque is a Hot Spot for Vehicle Thefts (2nd in the nation currently) and they have been targeting Diesel Pickups, so be very careful. The Park seems very safe, but don't leave your truck in downtown unless you have eyes on it, or a passenger waiting. This is real, not fear mongering.

We stayed here in March/18 so expect pretty cold temperatures/snow during that time. We picked one of the 3-4 semi-circle drive through sites, they were well spaced apart, but our rig was about as big as I think you could fit, possibly a 38 Class A, but with our dually it was a tight squeeze as they place huge boulders that restrict turning. The view of the La Sal mounts was great as there was plenty of snow on the peaks. There is one camp host who we did not encounter, but a park ranger drove through a few times. there is a pay station at the entrance, a few pit toilets, no dump, no water that I saw. I think you can stay 14 days total. Easy access to town if you want to shop etc, then retreat to your quiet camp.

I'd stay again if no other place was available. It's in a strange spot to the left of the gas station. Our site was way off level and super tight, but it's close to the casino and restaurant (great steak), and there is the gas station with food, etc. Was most likely built way before we had larger rv's. If you have a 25 foot or less, you'll be fine

We wished we could have stayed longer, but it was packed, along with all the other sites in Moab. Just a matter of the season. I'm only speaking about the campground. The sites were maintained nicely, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The main office is under construction now, new buildings, so expect it to be even better, now they are using a portable building.

The rules are very tight here, and everyone seemed to obey, no dangerous dog breeds, no drunks, large parties etc. There are other parks to go to if you have a large group of off road vehicles and like to have a loud party after a day on the trails, but this is not the spot for you, it's just a nice quiet place to relax.

Off road vehicles and trailers are allowed, and they have space to put your trailer, it's just more low key, relaxed, not rowdy, affair here.

There is a pond to swim in, large patio area to hang out, and a nice dog park. All very clean

Stayed one night on the way to Airizona. New clean facilities, well layer out with level sites. The back-in sites by the river are really nice, but for one night, we just got the basic pull through. They do have a newer store and office, don't have any details as we missed the hours they were open.

I guess you should read out 1st review because it's still a great spot to stop in while traveling. We had a back in site this time, and it was more difficult due to the total length of our rig and truck, we were near the bathroom area which is tighter compared to the other areas. Other than that it's great. we'll stay again.

Stayed for one night. It's a decent stop for and really good if your in a Jeep/Bronco/Other group, they will let you work you vehicles getting ready for the trails, unlike most RV Parks. we were basically in and out the next morning. Gravel sites, pretty level, we'd stay here again.

I agree with 99% of what the previous reviewer (Jenn Grover) said, good for one night or 2. Free for the 1st night. Honor system for the following nights.

A few old RV's (really old) mixed with brand new ones, you never know what you get here, but the price is right

We're using our Membership, thus the reduced rate posted. The normal rate I think is around $40/Day. This a nice secluded spot in Desert Hot Springs, sites are well maintained from what we could see. Our site and the one next to it needed work on the sewer drain as it was an uphill (yes) uphill drain, so we have extreme difficulty emptying the tanks, (not fun) They said there were going to fix it and from what we saw the new owner is investing a ton of money with new landscaping and improvements to the hot tub/pool area with a new small store, so I would chalk this to an isolated problem. The security team is on guard so keep your nose clean, and speed down. There is an upper clubhouse which has activities, pickleball etc. Great winter sunsets! Plenty to do in Palm Springs area, not so much in DHS. Access is OK, but it's off the freeway and you'll be taking some backroads to get there. Check in was fine, front counter personnel were friendly and helpful. We'd stay again.

What a great find, the park is only a mile or so off the freeway, tucked in a nice town park. The only tricky thing is the 1st Y intersection, no signage to get to you going to the RV park. Take a left at the Y and you'll be going in the correct direction. There are a bunch of pull through's and back ins. You pay with an envelope in the Iron Canister - Self Service.

There is fuel on the way out back to I40 and you can also pick up some eats before you get back on the road.
