Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on August 15, 2023I pulled into this campground late Saturday afternoon over Memorial day weekend and found one of the few available spots. It is essentially, a parking lot, with some shade trees, electric sites, drinking water, and a dump station. The first night is free.
The campground is connected to a very nice community park and a nice fishing pond is right across the street. There was a ton of space to walk the dog, here, too.
Verizon 4g was excellent and I was able to pick up local TV with a cheap antenna.
There was a strong pot smell when I arrived, but it is Colorado. There were a few older, seen better days RVS, a couple of tents and truck Campers, and a couple of newer RVs there, as well. It was very quiet once the park's pool closed. There are RR tracks nearby, but I never noticed the train.
I would definitely recommend doing this is a good spot for overnight but I think you would do better at a state park for more than a day.
There are a couple of of Walmarts at nearby exits, too, if you need supplies or if the campground is full.

I agree with 99% of what the previous reviewer (Jenn Grover) said, good for one night or 2. Free for the 1st night. Honor system for the following nights.
A few old RV's (really old) mixed with brand new ones, you never know what you get here, but the price is right

There's not much grass for setting up tents. I pulled up around 9pm and some bad hombres were making a ruckus in the RV area. Didn't stay.

Was traveling to Moab from Iowa and made this my first overnight stop. Was told about it and was hoping there was a spot. I was happy to see a couple spots open. Easy to find, just exit of I-76 at Exit 90 (A or B depending which direction you're traveling) and head south on 71 (AKA Colorado Ave). I suggest taking a right on Edison Street (Business I-76), take a left onto Clayton Street, go over the railroad tracks (careful, fast trains), go past the park & pond and take a right before the white tanks. It's a loop so just find a spot as it is first come first serve.
Located next to Memorial Park(Swimming pool, basketball and volleyball courts, playground) and a man-made pond (Doty). The RV park has approximately 30 gravel sites (they claim 60, but that would be packed), 12 with electrical hookups only, shared potable water source, restrooms, showers and a RV dump are available. Plan to stay longer than one night will cost $20 per night for up to 7 nights. If you need to stay longer, there is a discount by you have to go to city hall to get a permit for that.
Walking distance to downtown for food and drink. We arrived on a Sunday, so those services were limited. Bakery, restaurants and bars in walking distance. Learned the town has been here since 1884 and some building showed it.
We were happy to get one with electrical service and was adequate for what we needed for an overnight stay (A/C). Took a walk and grabbed some dinner. then stopped at a small bar and played some pool. We walked back to our RV Trailer and slept peacefully. No loud noises or heavy partying.

Stayed here one night just passing through wish we had stay another night. First night free after that $20 a night this includes water electrical and dump station. Shower are free but no water temp adjustment just bush bottom. We did not mind but trains pass by about 5 blocks away and they do use the horn this happened about 5 times through out the night.

We were looking for a good stop while headed to the Badlands, this couldn’t get better. We are traveling with 1st Class RV Adventures. Both rigs fit very well, free electric, free water. Located right next to an awesome pool that has lap swimming and all. There is a really cool playground for the kids, a small pond next door for fishing and hanging out, power in the pavilions, a small museum and walking distance to several restaurants in town. The park is very pretty, very clean. A couple of reviewers said it was sketchy or it bothered them that there were some older rigs, we are here on a Saturday night- no issues at all and we feel perfectly safe. It is free for the first night and a suggested $20/night after that.
We fulltime travel and have been all around the country, this is a great place to enjoy an evening and get some sleep. We will definitely be back!

Not the park I imagined from other people's reviews. It's okay. It seems safe...enough. It's not the older RVs that make me nervous, though. The town just has a rough edge to it and there are a number of bars within a few blocks (which has its pros and cons).
Definitely people live in this park despite the "limit." The guy across from us has been here 3 months (he told me this) and others have flower pots and lawn decorations out and don't look like they've moved in a long, long time. These rigs are currently monopolizing the few working water hookups.
The water hookups are only available in the center section, not on the outside of the horseshoe. The only one we saw on the outside of the horseshoe was broken and had a sign on it.
Nobody seems to be parked in the "spots" and there's no way there's 24-30 spots in here with the way people are parked, more like 16-20 depending on the size of the rigs that show up. There is a working dump station. Didn't look at the showers or bathrooms. Generally kind of dusty and people seem to drive through the RV park REALLY fast.
Train is super close and goes by a lot, but that didn't bother us. Really easy to walk into "downtown," which is very cute and there's a surprising number of restaurants. Be forewarned most stuff in the downtown closes early.
Overall, I'm glad this is here and there's pretty much nothing very close in any direction other than this place. The free electric is really nice. It's easy to get to off of R. And I'm not mad about getting 5 bars of Verizon 4G. Plus, I've stayed at Walmarts that were far creepier. But it's not like...posh...like some of the other reviews make it sound.

Things have changed, it is now $25 a night and you have to register with City Hall for your campsite, . The 1st night is no longer free. RV sites are electric, water only, and dump station. The site I used number 15 had 50 amps.
