Fun place! The Cave and fun park are at the same location. There is a Zipline type feature, mountain coaster and challenge course too. Everything is built on a hill, so expect to get a workout, but not crowded and worth the trip.
it's a KOA, so it's very consistent. Clean, maintained, friendly people, shops, stable and atv facility on site. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the first site they gave us wasn't graded well and on too much of a slant for our 15' trailer
This was a gamble since the information is sparse, but it paid off.
$25 per night in a small RV park with about 7-8 spaces. Next to a park and baseball field, in a town with pretty much nothing else. There are a couple RVs that look like they stay here, and it's first come first served. Great inexpensive overnight close to Wounded Knee. 30A & 50A Elec and water hookups, with dump station.
As cheesy as it sounds but fun and a good time to get out and stretch your legs
Fun stop that you cannot do anywhere else. Out in the middle of a corn field but has plenty of room to maneuver and turn around. Sign the guest book in the chapel.
Great camping spot for overnight or long periods. Easy in and out, clean and well maintained. Bring bug spray.
Worth the stop. It's fun and has a guest book!
Watch the documentary or read about it prior to going.
There are a few Lakota that come up and tell you about it, and the effect it had on them. They will also try and sell goods, no particular price, just looking for donations.
This monument leads you up a dirt road to nothing, the grave site is on a hill to the west do not us this waypoint
