This place was awesome. Nice to go on a hot day since the cave stays very cool. Your guide was great, very informative. There are lots of steps to walk up and down. You will have to suck your head as well and there are very narrow places. But we were able to walk through easily with our 5 kids ages 10,8,7,5,2. Our two year old wanted to jump down the steps and be a typical two year old so we had to hold his hand or carry him. We all really liked it though and did the zip line afterwards which was really fun. I liked that two people can go together which made it a better experience for our younger kids. They loved it. They also did a virtual ride that they had. They liked that as well. We will definitely come back again if we ever come back to this area. Unforgettable experience.
We love caves. Our family seeks one out every time we go somewhere. This tour was about at hour long and 58° the whole time. We had Elijah as a tour guy and he was very informative and funny. It is a lot of steps, low ceilings, and tight squeezes. Definitely worth it if you can make it! Afterwards, we zip lined. It was a two person seat. The coaster was really fun! The whole family did that. The kids loved the two story aerial rope corse.
thought it was pretty cool. Didn't like that the tour guide kinda rushed us through the caves.
Fun place! The Cave and fun park are at the same location. There is a Zipline type feature, mountain coaster and challenge course too. Everything is built on a hill, so expect to get a workout, but not crowded and worth the trip.
The cave was perfect for a family ( bring a jacket and leave your bag) We have a 4,7,8 and 9 year old it was perfect! It was worth it to get the wrist band! Traveling for day then Rushmore my kids were in need to some activities! It was a 105 so we ended up buying lots of water at $2 a bottle.
Food was not the best so bring a picnic but they have hot dogs and microwave pizza.
The park is clean and compact, but lots of stairs and steep climbs. The mountain coaster was a unique and exciting ride with short lines. There is also a zip line and “shoot-the-zombies” ride, plus a ropes course and the cave. We got the day pass and it was money well-spent. Plenty to do for half a day, lots of cool places to sit and enjoy the ice cream. Our kids (9, 12, 14) had a great time and we had line of sight to them everywhere. Highly recommend.
This was GREAT!
