We stopped to book a site based on reviews and could not stay here. It’s like a parking lot of an abandoned building. I had called in advance to make reservations and was told I did not need to. Thank you to the person who answered the phone and told me that. No one was there and I can see why. Laundry closed, which was the only reason we considered this place. We moved on.

We drove by and the gates were locked and there was a closed sign.

Website indicates closed for 2022 season.

Looks like a nice option.

Full hookups, very tight sites. We snagged the last small site and were happy to get it. All of the campgrounds in the area were full, including reserved and first-come national forest campgrounds. The picnic tables are child size (as stated by other reviewers). Sites are gravel and ours was a tight fit between two trees. What else can I say? We have a place to sleep and we’re in West Yellowstone.

We stayed for two nights on our way to the Yukon. The nightly fee included camping per night ($27.25) plus daily fee (7.50 per person). The campsites were parking spots parallel to the road with a fire pit and picnic table. Sites were close but since we were on the end we didn’t have anyone on one side and our site was on the treed side of the road. There was a water spigot in the campground loop. There is also a dump station across from the campground entrance. There’s a beach, playground and numerous hiking trails throughout the park.

Verizon roaming through Bell was quite good.

After seeing the other campground in town we came here and were pleasantly surprised to find this. From check in to dinner at the on-site restaurant, we were made to feel welcomed. The campground is typical of those found on the Alaska Highway, which is to say because of where you are it’s a nice place to rest. There’s also a gift shop, laundry and clean pay showers, Wi-Fi and cable.

Verizon roaming through TELUS was good.

This is nice FHU RV park, very well run with gracious hosts. It’s been under new management for exactly one year and the owner is doing a great job of making sure each stay is a good one. The individual shower rooms are very clean and spacious with plenty of hot water. Sites are level pull-throughs that include a picnic table.
We will definitely return.

Not our first stay here. It was a nice overnight on our way home from northern Wisconsin. The site we had abutted trees on the back side, otherwise we were Closely surrounded. The 30 am didn’t work at our site, but we have an adapter so we were good to go and fortunately didn’t need to use the air. Surprisingly there were little to no mosquitoes, making sitting outside pleasant. The site was fairly level. There are showers, a couple dump stations, potable water and firewood available.

This campground was accessed down a dirt road off M72, but once you reached the campground entrance you’re on a paved road. There are two loops with one having long paved parking pads. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There was a spigot in each loop for water and immaculately clean pit toilets. We were here on a weekday and the campground was half full, but very quiet. The lake is within walking distance, but none of the campsites are on the lake. Our senior pass brought the cost per night to $7.50 which was a pretty good deal. We will definitely return.

We were here on a Monday night and the campground was virtually ours. We did note from the reserved tags on the sites that it appears to fill on weekends. Although it was rainy, we enjoyed a pleasant overnight stop on our way out west. Sites are separated nicely by trees and shrubbery. There was was some leveling needed, but nothing major. There is a dump station and potable water as well as a central shower building. The campground loops had pit toilets. We decided to give this campground a try after having stayed at the other COE campground on the same lake and would definitely return. $13 was the senior rate for an electric site.
