Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on September 13, 2022This is a very nice, quiet and well-maintained state Forest campground. It is reached by an unpaved road which can be pretty dusty when dry. There are three loops with some of the sites in each loop having water access and we had no problem getting a site on the water mid-week. We were able to leave our canoe at the water’s edge on our site. The sites are also large with plenty of room for any size RV, although the actual loops can be tight for larger rigs. Bathrooms were pit toilets that were clean and each loop had two. Potable water is available at a centrally located hand pump. A picnic area and walking trail was also available.
There was also a campground host, but he pretty much kept to himself.
