We stayed here while travelling from CO to WI. The campground was about 10 minutes from I 80. We could not hear the any highway noise. The campground was very clean and in top shape going into the holiday weekend. View of the lake was nice. The sites were level and paved. Many sites had electric. The park had water fill station and dump station, flush toilet and showers.

This was the best campsite of our two week trip. We planned to stay at Red Rock but it was not open yet, so the Visitor Center suggested this campground and we are happy they did. The campground was about six miles down a well maintained gravel road next to a reservoir. The campground was technically not open for the season since the water was not turned on yet but the Visitor Center stated if that was okay we were welcome to stay there. There was about 10 other campers in the campground. Our site, site 10 was very large and had good views.

We went on a hike from the campground which had outstanding views.

We arrived here after about 8 hours of driving on a 5 hour trip. Our destination was Pictured Rocks National Lake shore and hoped to stay at Twelve Mile Beach, Kingston Lake or Little Beaver Lake campgrounds, but they were all were full. We then checked out many more campgrounds and eventually arrived at this campground, which had several open sites. We found out that all the National Forest Campgrounds now take reservations for about 60% and the remaining are open for first come first serve.

The campground was well kept and had a very nice host. The next day we hiked 10.8 miles on the Bruno's Run Loop, which runs right through the campground. The nice thing about this loop is we only saw a few others and could leave the dogs run off leash. By the time we got back we decided to stay another night.

Arrived in the evening and found several sites open. The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds and facilities could use some care and updating. Quite stay.

We arrived to find our site had electric, which was just installed and the map was not updated yet. The campground was well kept and had convenient water fill and dump stations. The campground site were spaced apart and had vegetation between most sites, which offered privacy.

The lake was nice to canoe on. We went to Ishnala restaurant, which is a historic supper club overlooking the lake, the food was great, but the prices were high.

This is a very nice state park with a lake with a dog beach and many trails. The park has two water fill stations and dump stations. The park is really spread out. Many of the sites have electric. There is flush toilets and showers.

Bob's Bitchin BBQ in Dodgeville has outstanding food and was only about 15 minutes from our campsite.

Nice campground with sites along the shoreline of Lake Gogebic. The park was clean and well kept. The campground has water, dump station, showers and electrical hook ups. The hiking trail around the park could use some brushing out. The staff was nice and helpful. The rate does not include the MI state parks pass. This was the nicest of the three campgrounds around Lake Gogebic.

We stayed here one night while traveling since it was close to the highway and was convenient for us. The mountain views were nice and had a creek running though the campground. The campground must have been hit hard by the beetles since they were logging many trees off in the campground.

This is one of the most popular state parks in WI for a reason, the views are incredible and the range of outdoor activities you can do here are endless. We stayed in the Quartzie Campground, which just had new shower/toilet areas built and new pit toilets. There is no privacy between most sites and some of the sites are not very level. The park has great hiking, but the campground is very busy.
