This is one of the most popular state parks in WI for a reason, the views are incredible and the range of outdoor activities you can do here are endless. We stayed in the Quartzite Campground, which just had new shower/toilet areas built and new pit toilets. There is no privacy between most sites and some of the sites are not very level. The park has great hiking, but the campground is very busy. Now they no longer have any first come first serve and book solid. We were able to get a site using the notification when someone canceled.

We stayed here for the opening weekend of fishing season. We were the only ones in the loop we were in. The campground was spread out with much space between sites many of which were next to the lake. Our camp site even had its own spot to tie the boat up. Our site was also very large and had no problems at all fitting the two trucks, camper and boat trailer. The weather was nice for this time of year although the water was still cold which seemed to effect the fishing.

We stayed here a second time in July. Our site this time was 11a, which is a huge site and is secluded. We could walk down to the water right from our site. The only draw back of this site is that it was close to one of the boat landings to there was some noise.

The campground is between two lakes Owen and Bass. Owen is large and can have motors the Bass is small which you can not have a wake. Both have boat landings. They rent canoes, paddle boats and kayaks.

If you stay here one must is to go to the Delta Dinner, which is in Delta about a 15 minute drive north of the campground. The food is outstanding.

This is a very nice state park with a lake with a dog beach and many trails. The park has two water fill stations and dump stations. The park is really spread out. Many of the sites have electric. There is flush toilets and showers.

Bob's Bitchin BBQ in Dodgeville has outstanding food and was only about 15 minutes from our campsite.

There are three campgrounds together in off this road. The sites have nice views with creek running through the campgrounds. The hiking trail up to the Glacier Lake was nice, but be prepared for a lot of elevation gain.

When we arrived all of the water sites were taken. The others were well spaced and just a short walk to the water. This is a very nice campground with pristine waters and surrounding forest. There is water, dump station, and pit toilets. There is also an outfitter store which has a nice selection of supplies and showers.

The fishing was tough when were were there since the May flies had hatched but the scenery was outstanding.

Our site was along Lake Superior shoreline. It was pretty big size and had nice trees for shade. This campground only has water hand pumps, no electrical and pit toilets. You can fill up water and use the dump station at the other campground in the park, Union Bay, if staying in the park. This was the nicest campground in the area (we checked out Union Bay, Black River and Little Girls Point). There are a lot of hiking trails in the park which were well marked. The rate does not include a MI state parks pass.

If you stay here we would suggest checking out Copper Peak Ski Flying Jump. The views from the top were awesome and would imagine it would be outstanding during the fall colors.

We stayed here for two nights while attending an event in the area. The sites were large but mostly open. A lot of sites had both water and electrical hook ups. There were sites that had water view. The water level was down several feet while we were there, but still was nice.

Nice campground with sites along the shoreline of Lake Gogebic. The park was clean and well kept. The campground has water, dump station, showers and electrical hook ups. The hiking trail around the park could use some brushing out. The staff was nice and helpful. The rate does not include the MI state parks pass. This was the nicest of the three campgrounds around Lake Gogebic.

This is one of our favorite places to camp to date. Our site was right on the edge of a creek and was quiet. The view was incredible. The Going to the Sun Road was the scariest road we have ever been on in our life, but is a must drive road with incredible views.

Our only issue was with the forest fires, which made the views not very clear. We left the park for that reason, since the size the fire grew significantly.

We will defiantly go back again.
