Beautiful park, definitely go explore when the weather is nice. This is where Obama gave his acceptance speech in 2008. Super relaxing place to visit, way quieter than Millenium Park.

Great museum with wonderful exhibits coming all the time. The museum is pretty big so unless you wan't to spend a good chunk of time there, I'd recommend looking up what's there and going to see one or two exhibits. There's also a gorgeous little plaza-type garden to the right (if you're facing the museum) that's one of the nicest spots in downtown Chicago to go read a book or have a picnic when the weather is nice.

Since 2011, Limantour has been one of the premiere high-end cocktail bars of Mexico City. It has a laid-back vibe and wonderful service that wins over locals and people from all over the world. Their inventive cocktails with fresh, local ingredients never fail to delight. During the week you'll likely find a spot to sit, either at the bar, in the upstairs lounge, or out on the patio. If you show up on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night though, you'll be lucky to get the bartender's attention. Definitely a great place to have a cocktail before dinner or go have a couple drinks before going to one of the nearby clubs.

Delicious, healthy fare for a good price, can't beat that! I had the breakfast sandwich which comes in a whole wheat English muffin with tomato, avocado, egg and cheese. Hard to beat for $5. Also a cool space. Great lunch spot!

The name of the restaurant is an homage to surf and turf - in Spanish 'mero' means grouper and 'toro' means bull. This is upscale Baja California style cuisine, also offering loads of Mexican wines which a lot of people have never tried. Their food is absolutely delicious - the butterflied, grilled prawns from the Pacific and the caprese angel hair pasta are the two dishes that I remember best, but really everything is great.

It definitely attracts a well-heeled crowd so don't dress down. Bit pricey too but in my opinion very worth it!

Really great museum! The building, which I love, was designed by a well-known architect called Zaha Hadid and completed in 2003. The building alone is reason enough to go, there are some pretty cool nooks and crannies, the light comes through in really interesting ways, and just overall a very cool space.

I don't follow too closely the exhibits that come and go but they bring some really interesting things to the city. They also host a bevy of conferences, talks and workshops around the year which are worth checking out.

This beach is really beautiful, worth the trip to spend the day in the warm water and on the beach eating french fries and drinking beer. Not a bad drive from Trancoso, about 45 minutes if you've rented a car. Not sure by bus.

I'd been wanting to try Cheapside for a while because I've heard good things the place looks cool and it didn't disappoint! The space is really cool, minimalist, right in line with their food, which is absolutely delicious. I had a grilled cheese that had spaghetti squash and tomatoes in addition to the cheese, making them lighter than a traditional grilled cheese. I could have very happily eaten 10 of them. It's literally just the sandwich on the plate though, no sides or anything, so if you're hungry you should probably double-up and get two things.

You order at the counter and then they bring the food to you when it's ready so there's definitely a pretty casual vibe. Picnic tables outside that you can share with strangers if there aren't any free tables.

Wish they were open at night! There isn't much around them in the way of bars or restaurants so you wouldn't necessarily stumble across it, but it's just a few blocks from OTR and definitely worth a visit. Would be a great place to go for coffee (free refills) or to work for a few hours as well.

Great taco + traditional Mexican fare that's a little more upscale than the typical taco place but still really low-key. Be aware that on the weekends there can be very long waits at lunchtime as this is a really popular spot. It draws an eclectic crowd, everyone from big Mexican families to expats to artists and hipsters to the glamorous crowd, everyone comes here for the great food, good prices, and friendly service.

Great little restaurant with a delicious and well-executed upscale menu. It ain't cheap so if what you're looking for is typical Clifton, college-kid fare, then this isn't the spot but if you're looking for a great meal then definitely check it out. I had sweetbreads (which are hard to find anywhere in the US), foie gras and oyster mushroom ravioli which were all really good. The servers are knowledgeable and eager (maybe a tad overly-eager...I was having a conversation with Mom and the server kept interrupting exuberantly to see if the food was "stunning"). I'd definitely go back.
