Hierve el agua is definitely worth the drive from Oaxaca city! The drive itself is a bit long but really beautiful and well worth it once you get to the springs. There's also a short, easy hike from the springs to an overlook from where you can see the springs from afar. Don't miss it, I've been multiple times and it's my favorite part about going to the city of Oaxaca!
