By far the nicest of the three National Park Campgrounds along the Natchez Trace. Super easy access, a lot of pull thru sites, mostly level, w/ picnic tables and fire rings. The sites are well spaced out and clean. Plenty of trash cans available throughout the campground, nice bathrooms w/ flush toilets and potable water available. There is a nice hike on the Meriwether Loop trail that follows and crosses a creek.

We got 1 to 2 bars of T-Mobile LTE, 37.2 mbps down/2.96 mbps up.

This was a very quiet a peaceful stop for us, if we didn't have other plans we would have stayed another night or two.

When we pulled into this campground the office was closed, the camp store was closed, and the bath house was closed. They only have 4 rv sites and they aren't close to being level. Our site was right in front of the closed bath house which was being renovated so all we heard were the workers talking loud, their loud music, and power tools. We couldn't have a fire because according to their rules you can't bring in firewood from outside the campground and the camp store was closed so we couldn't buy any there, plus they state not to burn dead wood laying on the ground. We booked five nights here but when we were welcomed with the workers' music and power tools this morning at 8 am we packed up and left. We contacted management for the campground but have yet to hear from anyone. This might be an ok park for tent campers but we don't recommend for RV'ers. We will not go back there. Also, be aware Verizon coverage here is VERY slow!

Main road into campground is fine but the roads in the campground are narrow with bumpy broken up asphalt with pit holes. The sites are narrow, overgrown and aren’t level. We had a picnic table and fire ring but no bear box. No showers in our loop A, and bathrooms are ok. This campground needs a little lovin’ but the location is great to get on Going To The Sun Rd and to Many Glacier area. We are getting 1 bar T-Mobile with .11mbs down/.14mbs up. Our site (A40) gets good sun exposure and clear view of the sky for Starlink. If you don’t have hydraulic levelers make sure to bring leveling blocks. Price we paid was with 50% discount for Access Pass.

We had a beautiful view of the lake from site 15. The sites are paved with a nice fire ring and picnic table. Camp host has fire wood available for $8. Pit toilets are clean and plenty of trash cans available. The lower loop has two portable water spots, one is threaded. The road in is paved then turns to gravel for over a mile, then paved again the last third. That last third of the road gets a bit narrow from tree branches hanging into the road. The price we paid reflects our Access Pass 50% discount.

Good sized sites with plenty of space between sites, river access with beach area, so peaceful at night with the roar of the river. No hook ups of course but the pit toilets are clean, trash cans by the toilets and dumpster on the campground loop. A couple of the sites are more level than the others, we were in site 3 and didn’t have to level our 23 ft B+ RV. Cell coverage is basically non-existent on Verizon, occasionally we would be able to send or receive a text, no internet connectivity or voice service.

Good sized paved sites, the two we stayed in were pretty level. You get a fire pit, picnic table, pit toilets in each loop and flush toilets in between the loops, potable water stations (no threads on spigots), and trash dumpsters in each loop. We arrived on a Friday of July 4 weekend and found a site in the electric loop, thanks to the helpful and friendly camp hosts. They were awesome! It was nice and quiet here, no road noise. We liked it so much we stayed another two nights on site 22, which I highly recommend if you can get it. It's a VERY large pull thru site with river access to the Lochsa River.

The Lochsa Lodge next door has a restaurant, gift shop, gas station w/ small general store, propane and potable water.

There is no cell signal here but many of the sites should be good to get on Starlink.

Our price reflects the ACCESS Pass 50% discount.

Nicest of the three National Park campgrounds along the Natchez Trace. Nice paved, mostly level sites, probably more than half of them are pull thru sites, picnic tables, fire pits. Very clean bathrooms w/ flush toilets. Nice road into campground, easy access. 1-2 bars T-Mobile. Very quiet w/ some hiking nearby.
