You simply enter the park, and follow signs toward the campground (to the right) as you proceed you will see a drive on your right that borders a fence line. You'll see the sign for the dumpstation. The first opening is the exit, the next is the entrance. Once you pull in, you'll see a kiosk and box with envelopes and a separate slot to drop the envelope with $10 payment. There's water, but it is non potable. There's also a metal trash can. The area is kept very clean.

We saw that this is a military campground. We were not sure if it was open to civilians, so we called ahead. We were told that yes it is as long as active training isn't taking place on the grounds of the campground. We arrived on a Thursday and left on a Monday. There are mostly permanent campers and travel trailers. Some are occupied and some are not. The full-hookup sites seemed to be permanently occupied. There appeared to be approximately 6 dry sites available including the one we were in. We had two bars of cell signal on Verizon & TMobile. There's constant artillery fire, so if that bothers you, stay away.

There's one port-a-potty near the entrance with a hand wash station. Very clean! No water or dump station.

We ended up here when the area campgrounds were full. We were prepared for anything goes, it is an OHV area, it's to be expected. The locals didn't disappoint. Music, fireworks, you name it they had it. All settled down around 2 am.

What we didn't expect was the trash, piles, and piles amongst smaller scattered trash, mainly used toilet paper. 💩 Burned tents, chairs, canopies, even a burned out mattress with remaining spring, and so much broken glass EVERYWHERE. It's become part of the landscape, glistening in the sun.

This is not somewhere you want to be unless you don't give a $#@&!

Great overnight stop for $12. We tow a 25' TT with an F-150 and were able to stay hooked up, and just fit into the space. We arrived around 3:30. The ranger said we need to be out of the space by 9:00 a.m. but are welcome to parallel park near the entrance and enjoy the park. Water spigot, picnic table, and grill at the site. There's traffic noise intermixed with the sounds of nature.

Due to Covid, only two of three spots are available. Also, you arrive after 3 pm. Some reviews have said after 6 pm.

We walked the trail around the park, very relaxing!

Great little campground a short walk from the river. Sites are roomy and well-spaced. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Pit toilets, and trash are the only services.

A short walk down the road leads to a parking area for river access. There are several tent-only sites by the river, very well kept and private.

It's a quiet area, with lots of birds. Occasional train can be heard in the distance and some local traffic.

We arrived at 6pm. It was clean, quiet and of course free!

There's a sign that says no overnight parking. Just call and ask permission.

No longer offering dump & water. Chevron on S Ellsworth was the closest we could find to this location.

We pulled in the back of the lot, and headed to the front entrance to check in and get a permit. We both received a $10 players cards and $10 of free gas. The lot is completely level here at the back of the lot next to the shipping containers. Decent Verizon and T Mobile signal. It is very windy here, that's the only possible negative.

We were cautious but hopeful as we approached the campground. Reading the description online it appeared that we may end up paying $40 for a dry site which is well above our budget. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival and speaking to the host, Meghan that the total for a site with electricity, and water is $30! Plus, there's a dump station on-site!

There are so many great amenities that full-timers like us will appreciate such as laundry! $2 to wash, 50 cents to dry. A change machine and detergent! In addition to dumpsters, there are bins for recycling!! The wifi was excellent as site number 7 is right next to the waypoint. It didn't hurt that only one other camper is here. ;-) There's a huge grassy area in the center of the campground for dogs and kids to play. At each site, you'll have a fire ring and picnic table.

It's a very short walk to the lake and a small boat ramp where you can launch your small vessels. The ocean is a little longer but easy to walk, and the views are breathtaking. Lots of room to explore and take long walks.

The website (and onsite signage) will say there's a $10 fee to use the dump station for paying guests, but per the host, it's FREE if you pay for a site.

There are bathrooms and showers onsite. We didn't check them out though.

Cell signal was workable, two bars on Verizon and T Mobile inside the campground, and excellent out on the beach. You could work on the beach if necessary! :)

We're in a 27' TT and we fit into the hookup site fine with room to spare. There are a couple of dry spots we could have fit in, but most of those are more appropriate for very small rigs and tents.

The area is super quiet, all we heard were ocean waves and birds.

We came here when our first choice, White Spar was full. This campground ended up being the better choice. Everything is super clean, there are even hiking trails! The rate is due to our ATB pass. Otherwise it's 18. Cell on Verizon and Mobile was minimal, but with our booster we were able to stream videos on YouTube.
