This is a big park with beautiful rock scenery, near the north side of the Grand Canyon. Convenient, off highway 89 for up-and-down snowbird traffic. Everything looks new, clean and well-maintained. As Arnold said, 'we'll be back'.

Follow-up comment 4/28/23: Stayed here again a year later. Same great experience, friendly staff and everything clean and well-maintained. Now they have two pickleball courts, a nice touch.

This is a BLM campground on the Big Hole river, famous for trout fishing. Fees here go to zero on Oct 1, and that's what we had. Big campsites, fire rings and picnic tables. The water has been turned off for the season but the vault toilets are still open. No noise, only the river. The campground was about 1/4 full last week, ~first week in October '21. Recommended.

Our site was right on the Rio Grande river. Sites are good-sized with plenty of big cottonwood shade trees throughout. Friendly management. Quiet and peaceful here.

Nothing special here, mostly full-timers. The park is pretty barren and uninteresting. Average facilities and a touristy store. But, after a long day on the road, we had a place to stay for the night. Management was friendly when we got in late.

First, I haven't stayed there but I've driven by and looked in. High Chapparelle gets high marks by most of the reviewers here and they have stayed there, so they know first-hand what it's like. What I saw looking in was a bunch RV'S packed into small sites; very little vegetation or greenery; an uninteresting parking lot layout in a flat, desolate location which is Arizona City... a wide spot in the road near Eloy, which is a wider spot with many buildings boarded up and a deserted sort-of look. This is my $.02 on this park never having stayed there. Just giving my opinion and not trying to sling mud.

In and out for one night and easy off the I-15 freeway. All of the comments below are true...it's a small park, old, tight spaces, lots of full-timers. But it was quiet when we were here and hardly no transients. We'd come back.

Not fancy but a beautiful setting. Mountains to the east, Lake Utah to the west. The sites are big and each one has a gazebo with a picnic table. Fairly easy off the I-15:freeway and right next to the Provo airport. This is a big park with a boat launch and even docks. Small sailboats, fishing and waterskiing go on here.. Not salty like the Great Salt Lake to the north. I took one star off because of the grounds being in rough shape. But at the end of April, there was snow on the ground until recently. Not a hanging offense in any case. Worth the $40/night

Traveling west in early October '21, all the NSF campgrounds on this highway were closed for the season. The Travelers Rest state park in the town of Lolo was day-use only, no camping. Lolo Hotsprings RV was looking pretty good when we got to it, after a long day driving. It's old and it shows it. But the campsites were big enough and not many other RVs were there. Restrooms were reasonably clean. I'd stay there again under similar circumstances.

There's a state park, Three Islands Crossing, right next door to this place for about the same price that is much nicer. At Y Knot, one outhouse is it for facilities. Both have power and water and the SP has a dump station when you leave. The rub is that the SP is nearly always full, so I'm told. So if you need an overnighter while traveling, Y knot will do. Why not? (Sorry). They do have a good restaurant (get the Ruben sandwich), a golf course, and lots of wine for sale.

Right on I90 and near the Columbia River. No road noise. This is an older Park but it's in reasonable repair. Many of the sites have a view of the river. Nice management, especially after arriving late.
