We had to stay for 4 nights due to work issues but there is very little to do in the town. The park is adequate, staff is nice, laundry and a dog run area. The sites are gravel and pull through with full hookups. The highway noise and train noise is a bit much. It’s a good option for a night stop just stock up on groceries. There is one small store a mile down the road and a dollar general in the same direction. We stayed here back in 2018 and the town had more options but things change.

We try to never arrive at night but couldn’t avoid it this time. We used our phone GPS and it took us to the back entrance. We the used the Campendium directions and made it to the right entrance. The campground sites are typical of Florida State parks. We enjoyed our stay.

We needed a stop over for the weekend. It was available and reasonably priced for full hookups. It’s a fishing area and was busy over the weekend. There is a small store where you check in, the staff is super friendly. The sites are close together but we didn’t back all the way in so we could stagger the patio spaces so as not to be immediately adjacent to the neighbors. There is a bathhouse area with individual showers. The road in has a huge hump over train tracks that could be troublesome for towing. Although the sites are grass we leveled fine. We enjoyed our stay.

The campground is spacious with 2 sides to choose a site from. Since it is first come first serve the rangers allow you to drive around and view the sites that are available and then come back to register. The sites include water and electric. We chose #10 because we could launch our kayak from the site. We called ahead just to ensure there were spots available. The bugs were a bit much but we used spray and outdoor fan. We would stay again.

This campground is remote but in a beautiful spot on the coast. Unfortunately we stayed during, what seems to be, the off season and during a planned power outage by the town for tree removal. We did not get to experience the marina bar or brewery that are next to the park but they look fabulous; as well as the deli. The marina bar is open Thursday-Sunday and the brewery opens 5pm-9pm each day. We only stayed 2 nights. This is a great place to stay multiple nights because the long harrowing drive in makes better sense for a longer stay and there seems to be plenty to do. There is great wildlife viewing on the beach. The sites are close together. We received an email with check-in instructions and driving instructions which one should follow. The road in has curves and steep grades. We have a 25’ rig and I can’t imaging anything over 30’ making the drive in safely. The staff is nice and the scenery is beautiful.

We booked online for a beach site that had no hookups but due to a work issue we needed power. The ranger onsite was so helpful in helping us find an available site with power. He gave us 4 sites to choose from. We got a site up on the top tier of the hill and it had the most beautiful views. There is a dump station on site and fresh water fill for RV’s. They have pay showers. There is currently construction happening on 2 new shower facilities. The 14 mile road in has treacherous turns and we saw another RV that had their awning torn off by a low hanging branch; just go slow. The store and restaurant onsite are awesome! The Jalama Burger is so good. The sites vary and the configuration is like a stadium of sorts. Some of the ground level sites were flooded when we arrived. We saw migrating whales while were there and the sunsets were amazing.

The campground is surrounded by beautiful mountains and the beach is across the street. However, the original trail to the beach is damaged and inaccessible unless you feel comfortable walking through rough terrain. We have a 25’ motorhome and barely fit in the site that I booked online that is listed as 31’. Most of the sites look very similar in size which is smaller than the online description. The park is also overgrown a bit with low hanging trees. The showers are typical for California state parks in that the shower facilities are token operated. The token machine was broken at the time of our stay but the camp host supplied them for the fee. The camp store is great for basics. We stayed 3 nights. We had no cell service at all but our Starlink worked amazingly well even with the tree coverage.

We stayed 4 nights because of a schedule issue. I was able to book online, the link on here is not valid but if you google the name you’ll find the reservation site. There wasn’t anyone to meet onsite but our site was reserved with a name tag and a phone number to call for any issues. We had site 3 which is near the boat ramp and the bridge. The site included power and water. A dump station is by the restroom facilities which includes a shower stall in both the men and women’s side. They were also very clean. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes were very plentiful so we were not able to sit outside and doing anything outside after dusk was impossible. There are sites further away from the bridge that probably don’t get the same amount of noise that we heard from the cars but it was very loud for us. The noise from the passing boats was also throughout the night. We had great starlink connectivity but the T-mobile and AT&T was minimal.

We stayed in September. The park is beautiful, we saw deer almost every night. We didn’t have any issues with leveling. The sites are close together but we didn’t have any issues. There are full hookups, partial, and an area for dry camping.

We called to reserve the site and thought we had specified full hookups. However, when we arrived we were asked what site we would want, when I said full hookups I was told no problem there was one left! They were super nice but be specific when you call to make the reservation. I hate to think what would have happened if we had arrived later.

It’s a very lovely park and convenient to the downtown Napa.

We stayed here since it was a little over an hour away from Yosemite National Park and we couldn’t get a spot inside the park.

The campground host was super nice and helpful. We reserved it online. The road in is long and very rough. We unhitched our tow vehicle at the dump station right before the entrance but should have done so before that.

We had power and water but no sewer. The sites aren’t very level but we made it work. Showers on site were clean. The lake is for boating and fishing.

The nearest store is 20 miles before the entrance so stock up before.
