We stayed one night at the new RV resort. They have 3 levels of pricing. The lowest one, Premium, was more than sufficient and gave us access to the clubhouse, bathhouse, WiFi, laundry, dog park and ... wait for it ... daily valet trash pickup!

You can make a reservation online, which was great for us because we got into town at 6 PM and could not reach any other RV park on the phone. We checked in at the clubhouse and were given a map and instructions on how to get to our site. Everything was incredibly well marked. They have beautiful flat sites with picnic tables, electric, and water. The bathhouse was immaculate.

There is a dump and water at the nearby Chevron station, and a WalMart Supercenter and Starbucks nearby.

The only negative was that it’s a good 10mn from the highway, but if you plan to visit the casino, it makes sense. We didn’t hear any noise from the airport as others have mentioned.

We were just stopping for the night so we didn’t take advantage of the clubhouse or the casino, but I still thought this place was well worth the $65. It was about as close to a hotel as you can get without actually being in a hotel.

This is a great compromise for those nights when you would happily just crash in a WalMart parking lot, but you really need power for some reason. For $25 we also got water and a place to dump water out. Close to 90 but far enough away that you don’t hear constant road noise.

We stayed here twice a few days apart in the same spot. It was quiet, spots were well maintained, friendly staff, good wifi, good cell signal. The ladies restrooms closer to the main building were really nice, new and clean. The one in the center was slightly less so (The shower heads were much older and the fan was broken in one of the showers). My husband reports that the two men’s rooms were equally nice. We didn’t use any of the other amenities except the dump area. Would definitely stay here again. It’s the closest campground I could find to Montreal!

Based on the previous review, we planned to spend the night here. I didn’t see any signs of welcoming RVs when we arrived, just one telling them where to park. But I think that was for the casino.

We never park unless we’re sure it’s OK, so I spoke to the security guard outside, who told me we could park in the overflow lot as long as we let security know and let them collect some details like contact info and license plate from us.

He took my temperature and let me in. I walked the entire length of the casino to the security desk. They were fine with it and didn’t take any of our info.

Now the hard part: figuring out where the heck we were supposed to park! Well it turns out the overflow lot is down the road from the main lot. It’s where they normally do valet parking (not currently available because of COVID). I have attached a map screenshot so you can see it.

The overflow lot is a massive empty lot which we shared with two trucks. Fairly level. It’s a lot closer to I-90 than the casino so there is a fair amount of road noise, but it’s consistent so you get used to it. We slept well.

Thanks, Campendium, for alerting me to this hidden gem! Everyone else in the area was sold out, but Winners RV found a spot for us, They are right in town, so don’t think you will be on the beach or anything. It’s a small place, not good for big rigs, but the owners are on site, very helpful, and the full timers were friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the WiFi, which wouldn’t stay connected and ended up being pretty useless. Please note, no showers or bathrooms available.

Let me get my 3 complaints out of the way first. One: When I checked in, they didn’t tell me the restrooms were closed. That would have been good to know in advance! Two: buggy. Three: only one dump station.

But other than that, this huge campground was full of amenities and activities, and had big roomy sites, with lots of options and price points. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in our corner spot with tall trees over our heads.

There was some noise from a birthday party down the road, but it settled down not long after the 10pm quiet time.

Close to Cape May and Wildwood.

This was a painless experience. Close to the highway, but not so close up the road noise is overwhelming. You can book online, no worries if you arrive after hours. Lots of price points to match your exact needs.

Campsites have a patch of grass, a fire pit, and a picnic table. We had our choice of spots on the row on the far left which is reserved for shorter vehicles. These have trees and some privacy, unlike the center of the camp.

Restrooms were OK. Could use a cleaning. Free WiFi worked fine. You can upgrade for $5.

The pool of course is closed because of COVID. They have a small store, I was a little shocked to find the cashier was not wearing a mask. Apparently they are not aware that South Dakota is a major hotspot right now.

It’s off season so the north loop of this campground was the only part of the park still open, and it was barely open. No showers, no dump stations, just the vault toilets and the drinking water. That being said, it was staffed with a helpful ranger who got us checked in and suggested the perfect hike for us. The campsite was private and had a little trail right to the water for gorgeous views. Cost for an out-of-towner was $25 plus $13 for a day pass. Would stay again just for the great location right in Peninsula State Park.

$18 for NY State residents, $23 for out of state. We stayed one night, found a relatively quiet and private site. Hard to beat the location at that price. Super friendly staff, dump station, the only negative was no hot water in the men’s showers. Would definitely here again but look closely at the site map before booking as most of the sites are not going to be as quiet and private as ours.
