Brand new campground in Greeneville TN opened in September!
It has 11 big rig friendly FHU sites all with views of the pond.
This is a very nicely done campground. Very clean and maintained and the clubhouse is beautiful. There are also hiking trails and a 3 acre dog park!
Bill the owner came to greet us personally. Super friendly and made us feel right at home.
This is adult only, 18 and up campground.
Beautiful surroundings and views. So peaceful and quiet.
We will most definitely be back!

What a great little overnight stop. There is 20 and 30 amp available and it is free!. We also enjoyed a nice meal from their restaurant. Free wifi at the casino too.
Quick one night stay at Veterans Memorial Park in Powers, Michigan.
No hook ups! $10 per night on the honor system. You fill out a envelope, put money in and drop it in the slot.
Cute small campground, around 14 sites. It's on the Cedar River. There are a few sites on the river.
Most site sizes are large with a couple smaller sites. We are 30' with no slides. There is a turn around loop at the end.
Campground and surrounding area are maintained and clean. Nice area to walk the dogs too!
Short bridge across river to a cleared out area with a picnic table.
Pit toilets available they are clean and roomy! There is also a pavillion with picnic tables, basketball court, baseball field and playground.
We would definitely stay again!

We lucked out and got the site on the peninsula. Absolutely beautiful! Water and electric hook ups, no dump station. Perfect Tmobile service. Swimming right out your front door. This place is a gem. Donations are accepted!
FHU with cable. We were tucked away in a semi secluded part of the campground. Loved it! This is one of their newer sites so it will only get better when the trees and bushes fill out.
Staff is always great here. Pizza, wings and ice cream was good too!
This is a decent sized campground, dirt roads throughout. There are a couple great trails too for walking dogs. Very dog friendly, we had our 5 with us. Tons of activities and play areas if you have kids.
I had a couple bars of Tmobile 4G but they do have excellent wifi throughout the park.
We have always enjoyed this park and go every year!

Had a gorgeous weekend at Eastpointe RV Resort in Grand Haven Michigan. We were on site 87, FHU with cable. $75 a night for a river front spot. It is a pull in so if you have a TT or 5er they pull your rig in with a tractor. After checking in there is a pull off lane to unhook. This is a gated campground that uses coded entry.
Absolutely beautiful campground, meticulously maintained and very clean. Staff is very friendly! There is a nice walking path that goes along the river on the property and leads back into the campground. There is a gated access to the dog parks at the city park next door. The dog parks are huge and have a small side and large side.
Side note...there is waste water treatment plants on both sides of the campground. We never smelled it and had no issues with it. It's totally fenced in and you can't see it. It was in the 70's with a nice breeze. Other reviews have mentioned it so I didn't not want to mention it.
We would definitely stay here again!

This is a nice resort! It is on the Muskegon river. They have a boat launch with boat slips and they also do rentals.
All sites are FHU w/cable. We were on site 135. $60 per night. Nice sized campground with paved roads. This is a gated campground, they give you a code when you check in.
We had a couple bars of Tmobile but they do have wifi. Our DishTV had a clear view of the southern skies too.
We did not bring our dogs but they do allow dogs. Two per site and there are breed restrictions.
They do have a camp store and serve food. We had the supreme pizza and breadsticks. Both were good and delivered right to our site!

Rock Island/Quad city KOA in Rock Island Illinois. Site 3, FHU and cable. $44 with KOA membership. The site is super long and wide. They have some waterfront sites too. We like this shaded site.
Nice campground! Decent amount of area for walking the dogs. Close to area attractions. We visited the Niabi zoo and John Deere Pavilion.
There is a train that goes through during the daytime hours. It did not come through at night while we were here, middle of the week in August.
