Staff is always great here. Pizza, wings and ice cream was good too!
This is a decent sized campground, dirt roads throughout. There are a couple great trails too for walking dogs. Very dog friendly, we had our 5 with us. Tons of activities and play areas if you have kids.
I had a couple bars of Tmobile 4G but they do have excellent wifi throughout the park.
We have always enjoyed this park and go every year!

This is less camping and more parking your rig next to a playground. Not a bad thing at all, but the grounds reflect the priority of keeping the facilities up to date for kid fun. We went for the Halloween Party and had a great Saturday full of pre-planned activities.
The internet is blazing fast, hookups exceptionally maintained, and owners take true pride in their service. If you have kids and are looking to getaway this is hard to beat.

Our camp site was at the farthest point away from the office clear in the back of the park. We had no kids traveling with us so it was fine to be that far from all the activities but definitely not a convenient place to be if you want to use any of the amenities. We had full hook ups, back in. Our lot was lovely and shaded with only one neighbor. However, while sitting on our patio we were right beside his sewer, water, and electrical box. This was so unnecessary to place the sewer right by our patio. They need to plant a bush or something between these 2 sites. The park looked like whoever planted and cared for it really loved flowers and gardening. However, most all the beds had not been weeded in years. Many bushes needed trimming and the lovely blueberry patched definitely needed a weed whip to trim them up. The grass in some places was a foot tall. It could not have been groomed this year. The bathroom screen door on the shed we were to use had been replaced, but no latch was put on it. It stayed open about 2 inches at all times allowing bugs inside. The showers on the back side of this shed looked also unkept. The shower curtain bottoms were dark and discolored with what I assume was mold. Also the stools for putting your belongings had the same issue. It wasn’t terrible but I decided to wait until our next camp ground to see if there was a better place to shower. Roads are ok for driving all sizes of rigs. However, move slow they are rutted and in need of grading. On a positive side was the only 8 miles drive into South Haven. We ate at Clementine’s. It was great food and the architecture was also amazing. This town has lots of shops, eating places and of course, the fabulous beach. We also ate breakfast the next morning at Phoenix St Cafe. We had been told to order the cinnamon roll pancakes and have them add pecans. We did that! Oh my!! 2 large ones arrived. Be sure to split the order! Wanted also to say that the KOA staff were super nice. Everyone we encountered was very helpful.

We camped here every Memorial Day weekend for the past 6 years. We were saddened to hear the campground was sold to corporate. There were 4 couples in our group who all booked at the same time at the $73/night rate - upon check in 2 couples were charged $93/night even though their reservation slip said $73. Now that the campground is in corporate hands not only did they raise the rates 25% but they removed the entrance gates so now anyone can just drive in during the night without a pass. No more ice delivery, no trash pick up. The grounds are in dire need of weeding, trimming and mowing. The beautiful tepees are gone. Sadly this gem is no longer and nor does it have the loving friendly family glad you’re here feel - we honestly did not feel at home here like we have in the past.

Worst camping experience. Came for the Halloween weekend changed everything. No haunted trails or hayrides. Waited in line with a 5 year old and an 8 year old for an hour for a train ride was next in line and was told no more rides for the night. At least 8 kids behind us all started crying. Absolutely ridiculous and a waist of my time. I drove an hour and a half for dollar store decorations and plastic pumpkins. You have lost my business never coming back. Sad.
