Simple but appropriate historical memorial. Beautiful, well-kept, and quiet park.
OK, so a bit unusual, but the park has much more to offer than a Jolly Green Giant and his little buddy. The instruments built into the pad are great! What a genius idea. And the bike repair station with every kind of allen wrench and tire pump. Brilliant! Stop and see and grab an ice cream next door at DQ.
We were on a waterfall roadtrip across the northwest and this was a perfect last stop. A beautiful park with great walkways and views of the terrain. I'm so glad we made this stop. Would love to see it in the spring when there's more runoff. It looked like there was a great deal more we could have done. Next time we'll allow for some more time.
What a delightful park, fun for the kids, fun place for the family. Good seating, well kept, water games for the kids. Was a delightful surprise to walk around this area. Loved all the statues of the presidents in the downtown area.
Was a good stay, and we were happy with our room. Clean and comfortable. The outside looks a bit worn, but the room was good. We also arrived late in the night, and I couldn't reach them with the number provided on Google, but the host was very gracious when we called the number on the door and we got our room very easily.
Fun, unique sculpture. We stopped because we were passing by. It is on an awkward intersection.
Definitely stop if you're on your way through. It's worth that, but don't go out of your way to make a special trip here. Amazing landscape of this eerie canyon, but it's difficult to get a good view. The viewing area is essentially an overgrown lot with an 8-foot chain link all around. No restrooms. The place is worth some development, but it's not there yet.
It's definitely worth stopping and taking time to walk around the lake. The views are amazing. The air is fresh. Flowers, rustic bridges, wildlife.
What a lovely park and a well designed waterfall/dam. Came through for lunch because we were on a waterfall siteseeing trip. So glad we stopped. The flowers, the river walk. Just a well designed and peaceful park.
Majestic! This has been on mybucket listt for years. Have passed it but never went through the park. It did not disappoint. Take the time to stop at pullouts and enjoy the panorama, the flowers, the wildlife. Catch a sunset. Take a hike around the lakes. Truly amazing.
