It was ok but nothing special. Small sites with no privacy.

Best place we stayed on our trip. Wish we had booked here for more than 1 night. We had site 31 - lakefront and right by a little fire pit gazebo. Our dog loved playing in the river, beautifully maintained, very relaxing. Also very quiet considering it’s right behind the Costco and the Walmart.

Absolutely fantastic park & campground! It was beautiful. Perfectly maintained sites with area for camper and tent if you like. My husband said the site was incredibly level for connections - best he’d ever seen. There were stairs behind the campsite that led to a really cool area with 3 picnic tables for a group or family get together. Then behind that were trails leading up to a great area where you can play games or let the dog run wild! In the evening the campground was very peaceful and amazingly at 5pm we heard Taps played from, I’m assuming, the Air Force establishment nearby. Definitely want to go again and stay longer!

After seeing fantastic reviews online for this campground we were really excited about it. Nothing like we expected. We went quite a few miles out of the way to stay here for 2 nights. Ended up only staying for 1 night. Not well maintained, sites crammed together, very worn out looking. Pictures look like water is easy to access but it is not. The people running it were nice but seemed very tired.

I was floored when we got here. I was really expecting a nice place. Very dusty & dirty. Very trailer park like. Staffer came to car to check us in but she was surly, uninformative and dismissive. Also no mask. Fortunately my husband wore his. Don’t be fooled by the website pic. There is no view of the water!

This was a pleasant campground. Mgmt ok. Well maintained. Nice view of the river but we didn’t let our golden play in it due to algae and stagnant water. Nice trees and shade.

This was a huge disappointment! We went out of our way to go to this campground due to several reviews we read online. We especially chose it due to info that there was an Island for dog to play on and access to the water. The island was mostly wild and inaccessible and very hard to find a place for our water loving dog to play. We scheduled 2 days but left after 1 night without a refund. We won’t go back.

Nicest place we stayed in an 8 day trip. Campsites are close but u still have some privacy. Very beautiful and well maintained. Our dog loved playing in the water which was super close. Great hiking/biking trail along the lake. Very helpful staff too!
