After 4 days dispersed camping we stayed here to refresh. First off, Randy the owner, is really nice and laid back. The grounds are pristine, laundry is cheap ($1.25 to wash, $1.00 to dry). They have a self serve ice cream machine in the pavilion, the pool was 91 degrees, sites are long and close to the river. It's a perfect spot for mountain biking, road riding, river sports or just relaxing. You do hear the train nearby but it's nothing like SoCal.

We just left Crater lake and were really looking forward to pampering ourselves with full hookups and unlimited ice cream, but I guess things have changed since the last review here.
Don't let your first impression run you away... you have to get by the mobile home park before you get to the nice campground.
The sites are beautiful, big, and sit right on the river! The river is gorgeous.
Unfortunately, a train passes by every couple hours and it's very loud! I use to live close to the rail road tracks, so I thought it would be ok, but it's so loud and comes by in the middle of the night and early early morning! Not what I was hoping for.
The morning fog is absolutely gorgeous here on the river!
There is a Verizon tower up on top of the hill, so LTE coverage is fast and effective! 15mbs
The pool is super small and is heated by solar panels, so if it's cloudy... no warm pool.
The last thing I will say about this place, is that I was going 7 mph through the lot and one of the host ran me down in a golf cart and told me that I was speeding.
Seriously? hahaha... we just kind of laughed it off, but they are definitely strict about their speed limit here. Having a 4 year old, I can respect that I guess.
Oh and they charge $1 for a crappy ice cream cone.

I really liked it here and so did Q-dog. The space between sites is grassy and obviously some sites are better than others. I was here on a fall weekday and didn't have reservations and I had the only site open for the night. From talking to people who regularly stay here, this park is full most of the time and reservations will most likely be needed in the summer.

I think I can understand about the owners as I wanted to stay another night and the host was pretty sure a site would be open. But then Q-dog barked (2x) because she was being impatient and I never got a call about the opening. But that wouldn't stop me from coming back again.

Yes I heard the train in the morning although it was as I was getting ready to leave. For some reason, I liked this train even with the blowing whistle because the tracks run right up against the hillside and it seemed poetic. But for some, it is a train whistle fairly close to the park.

I had a riverside site, so you can look out your front window or side lawn and see, hear, watch the river go by. I definitely enjoyed the riverside site but there are also sites further back from the river.

I stayed here for a week... its definitely one of my favorite places. I caught some small trout, and did some tubing too... The ice cream machine got a lot of good use...this might be the best rv spot on the river.

They were working on improving the sites the weekend we stayed but there was little or no disruption for us. They are putting in new sod in several and it looks like adding more spots at the west end of the park. Our full-hookup, pull-through site was level and wide with a gravel edge between the cement and the grass. Lots of room for a large patio rug without getting into the grass. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff at check in was friendly and helpful. They have a fenced in dog area and the park was very dog friendly.

The middle fork of the Willamette River runs along the full length of the park and the sound of water moving over the rocks is very peaceful.

There are train tracks across the river from the park but I personally didn't notice any noise at night that woke me up.

I called to stay for the night, we have a 16’ Aliner. Traveling from AZ through Montana, Washington down to Cali and back home. We were on our 10th day out of 14 days to visit 11 National Parks.

I called to see if they have vacancy for one night. The person on the phone seamed very odd after I told him we have a small pop-up A-liner. Asked how old the trailer is, if it has canvas sides or if it’s all hard sides. (We’ve stayed in many parks never had those questions but ok, whatever.) Asked if we have a sewer connection, which we don’t. Asked how many people are traveling. There are 3 adults and 2 children. After I said that, he told me “unfortunately we need to deny your RV” because there are too many people in such a small space! The camper sleeps 4 adults! I don’t understand why that would be an issue? We use the camper to sleep in only as we travel thru US.

I’d like to know why that would be an issue

Before we share all the reasons you should love this park, let us say what has already been said. Yes, train tracks are across the river and pass my all during the day and night, you pass by a non 5 star trailer park as you enter and the pool is tiny. That said...you have to still experience Caseys and the North Fork of the Middle Fork of the Willamette River to realize that those blemishes are nickels and times to the wealth of relaxation and joy you can experience at this park. If the toot of a train irritates you, the flowing sound of the river will be deafening...best stay away.
The sites in the front row, whether pull through or back in, sit on the banks of the river and you own a 180º riverfront view. Just steps away from your site, you have available to you, trout fishing, swimming and tubing or rafting. Hiking trailheads and pristine lakes are but a short drive away away. But if you want to just relax while enjoying your favorite book, beverage or grill, this is the place.
And this river is beautiful. Water quality is one of the most outstanding attributes of the North Fork as its source, Waldo Lake, is considered one of the purest in the world. We have seen bald eagles, osprey and river otters while sitting on the banks. Fly fishing can be very good if you get out and wade.
The new owners have worked extremely hard at upgrading this campground. Each site is immaculate, kept groomed after each guest leaves, lawns are very thick and green, kept mowed and leaves blown. Wi-fi signal is strong and so is cell service. There is an ice cream machine, cones are not free, but for a $1.00 you can have a huge cone or bowl of soft serve.
The nearby town of Oakridge can accommodate all your shopping, dining and fuel needs.

We lucked out and got a river site and it was so nice to sit and watch it flow by. The town was not far and had some essentials but not big enough for a walmart. They have a pool and it was warm in June for swimming. Would love to stay here again. Covered bridges in the area. Good place for walking and some bike riding. Office staff was very nice. When you first come into the park dont panic when you see mobile homes...you past those and the place is beautiful.

I was the first to review this campground in 2016 ( I gave 5 stars at that time) and wanted to update with our last experience. We had to cancel due to Covid-19 restrictions in this town (not allowing visitors but this RV park was open). They kept our $45 deposit and then charged another $45 after we cancelled. Also when I looked online the entire park was sold out so they would have had zero problems rebooking our site. Places like this with poor customer service in unprecedented times make we very wary to recommend.

We discovered Casey's a couple of years ago and decided to stay again on our way over to the coast. The park is even nicer than we remember. The park sits on the Middle Fork of the Willamette River and nearly every site has a view. The sites are big, level, offer full hookups, cable and many have shade. Most sites are also pull through, though we choose a back in site in the second row which overlooks a small patch of lawn without any rigs blocking our view of the river.

There's a pool, laundry and Oakridge offers basic shopping, though Eugene is only about 40 miles away. The Verizon is good enough for streaming but the AT&T fades in and out, even with the booster. Not much bad to say. There are railroad tracks nearby and it can be quite loud at the far end of the park but up front, it's not bad. Other than that, we really enjoy the beautiful surroundings and peaceful setting.
