Traveling across the US from AZ to NH looking for easy off/on spots for one night stays. This is a great find.
Quiet, easy off/on I-20, very nice owners. They provide great instructions to meet them and they escort you to your site, FHU 50 amp $40 per nite cash. Not sure if they have cable or wifi we did not ask, we used hot spot off our phones.
They are wonderful country folk who have owned this land for many generations and will welcome you with open arms.
We have a 39' RV and had a pull thru spot with no issues and no neighbors! This is NOT a fancy place so if you are looking for foo foo amenities keep on driving. If you want a quiet one night stay at a reasonable rate we highly recommend this place. We would stay again for sure!

We were looking for a place that was open after mid October so we could ride the Pauite Trail. This place remains open until October 31st.

Customer service was excellent. Very laid back owner. In fact when we spoke on the phone she advised us to just pull in and pick a site and she would get with us to pay! We finally got together the next day to pay for our night's stay!

They also have cabins that were all booked up with a big group of riders heading out for trail rides.

There were about a half dozen RV's here. Sites are full hookup, basic gravel no frills but nice and quiet for sure.
They have nice rest rooms and laundry facility, if needed.

We had a change in travel plans so we only stayed one night but we would definitely return as this location is great for trail access and hospitality!

We have learned when boondocking at these type locations as well as truck stop the key is to arrive EARLY!

Nice paved parking lot, BUT the spots in the back for overnighting are not level. We arrived early and grabbed a good level spot next to curb. Other RVs that spent overnight basically parked along the rear curb or in the open area of the paved parking area.

When we got up the next morning there were six other RVs in the lot so it is a popular spot.

There is a campground just a little further up the road if you want to pay for hookups otherwise there is NOTHING available as you drive thru the Navajo Reservation, which is huge.

The wind was brisk until the sun went down then it was calm. The Trading Post is a nice store to walk around in, pricey but has a very good selection.

If you need diesel fuel beware these are NOT truck pumps, they are as slow as molasses but again not much available moving north.

While we felt safe staying here, we did here nose outside late at night and we would not have opened our doors if anyone came knocking, which they did not. We would stay here again if traveling in this area.

Stopped October 2023 drove all the way down all private solar fields.

Update: apparently the boondocking location is on the north side of 95 NOT the south side. We moved on down the road and spent the night at Terrible's in Searchlight.

We noticed a 5 th wheel boondocking on the north side of Hwy 95. We followed the directions from Google maps which were obviously wrong. Just be forewarned this is in the middle of NO WHERE!

Coming off a week of boondocking we needed to empty our tanks, replenish water, wifi access, laundry the works! We researched laundry in town, dump fees etc and we decided our best option would be a couple of nights in a nearby campground. Shady Acres was it and worked perfectly for us. We arrived around 11 am without a reservation, we had called ahead and were advised to just "come on in"...very welcoming staff.

Wifi works great, laundry facility is huge $2 wash vs $4 wash in Moab, no brainer there! Pull thru gravel site with full hookups and great water pressure. Discounts on fuel at neighboring station along with discounts on Blimpie as well.

We consider this a gem of a find and provided us with exactly what we needed after 8 action packed days of boondocking in Moab!

We utilized our Escapees membership discount to save a few pennies as well. Nice quiet campground for sure. Easy access right of Business 70

Big parking lot, suggest you arrive early to grab a spot in the back along the trees so you will be away from the refer noise.

Very quiet and several other RVs spent the night. We did not us the facilities but besides the casino there is a McDonalds as well.

This was our 2nd time overnighting here. Boondocking only. We arrived at 1:45 pm and space was already limited. Paved parking lot with McDonalds and a casino absolutely NOTHING fancy. Fuel is also available. Easy access from highway for sure. There is trash in the area, why people do this is beyond my thought process.
There is not much in the area so this place is popular with both RV's and truckers. We snagged a spot along the back of the parking lot. As the afternoon passed many came and went due to limited space.
If you are looking for solitude and quiet this is not the place, trucks come and go all night, respectful as they are working.
We would definitely stay here again if in the area and we would arrive early afternoon as well. This location seems to have become VERY popular since our first visit.

We stayed at the smaller Terribles location (fuel stop) twice this time we got smart and stopped at the Roadhouse/Denny's location about a block up the road. Much bigger, quieter and nicer!

We were here in October, arrived 5 pm NV time, 6 pm Utah time after a long day of driving. By the time darkness rolled in there were several other RV's that had pulled in.

Much quieter than the fuel stop Terrible's, gravel parking lot, no frills but works for a great overnight stop! We would definitely stay here again. It seems like several places are changing the overnight rules and it is getting harder and harder to find free overnight spots!

Location right off 95 with strong 5G T Mobile coverage, we were able to stream TV with our hot spot!

We stayed 2 nites while traveling during the virus epidemic. Easy in and out. Very nice park, quiet, good wifi, nicely stocked store, great hosts.

We had a 50 amp full hookup pull thru as we never unhooked. There are many fulltime residents here who must work locally but all were very quiet.

Easy access on/off I-20 and very little road noise during the day and non at night.

We really enjoyed our stay at this park and would not hesitate to recommend it and we would stay again if in the area.
