First for larger rigs only space #1 or #2 will work. For #1 enter from the right… for #2 enter from the left and drive around in order to back in.
No shade here is correct. Campground is located in the junipers.
The spaces are fairly far apart so that was nice. It would be VERY warm in the Summer Months.
The very worst part of this campground? Is the disgusting vault toilet!! I’ve never seen so many TP holders in one place. When I arrived most of them were empty. While I was there they were filled… but nobody bothered to clean the toilet and I doubt anyone has done that in YEARS!! The BLM needs to fire their staff taking care of this campground!!
No water either, but if you have a bike that’s what this place is really about. There’s a rack and air for those.
Basically?? For the fees required you’d be far, far better off Boon Docking just about any where in the region.
That’s very easy to do outside of Cedar City.

The desk guy was nice, from there it was all down hill. What I was looking forward to most at the end of this day was a shower. The facilities were ok, but what really chaps my hide is a quarter operated shower in the name of “conservation”… it took a shit ton of time for the water to heat up, and then was a nightmare to adjust. Water pressure was a trickle as well.

And conservation?? There were four sinks in the bathroom that anyone can simply leave on and walk out. So their conservation efforts could use some review.

As far as the stay? No one seemed to leave anything outside their units so that felt strange. Some dummy was running a generator all night in an RV park?!? Spaces are ample, but gravel. Each spot has a picnic table and a bar b que. Overall? I’ve stayed in much nicer parks for a lot less! I’d pass this one buy if I ever came through here again.

Carla is tops as the manager! 35.00 per nite, 490.00 per month with full hookups! Clean, quiet park close to everything! Huge nice clean showers which is high on my list of requirements. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Yes I’ll be back. One thing… I don’t consider 125.00 a nite, foo foo sites good. I don’t care where they are. Full time living in an RV is not about frills… it’s about convince, clean living, and nice people and Carla with her crew do that in spades!

A very nice park. This is my second time I stayed here. My first time I was not able to fully use all the amenities.

This is a SUPER clean and well kept park. Also very modern in its build compared to other parks I’ve stayed in. Very quiet and easy access to town and the freeway. Asphalt drives with cement pads and adjoining grass out your door.

Kind of an unusual design with piggy back sites. You can place two 32’ travel trailers complete with tow vehicle at either end. They typically place one large situation as a drive through with another smaller unit behind. It seems to work fine.

The laundry facilities are awesome!

The biggest plus in my world?!? The Showers!! The best showers of any place I’ve ever stayed. For me? I really like my shower! It makes my day and the entire trip. Not only clean large showers ( I’m 6’4” and 275) but clean and tile composition. With seats! And places so your clothes and such stay dry!!

If I could give this park and the team here ten stars I would.

Very nice quaint, quiet campground. I boon-dock most of the time, so here I have lots of amenities I do not usually get. If you want the Ritz for forty bucks a night, this is not it. However I you wish a nice quiet spot in the shade of some awesome trees by a creek? Bingo! You’ve arrived! Very, very nice management team here as well. Is it an older campground? Yes, but so am I so who cares? I was camped at Quigley's Station about 35 miles away until the McKinney fire chased me out of there. Upon reflection I’m glad the fire chased me out of there ‘cuz I found this spot. It’s also much cooler here. Lots of things to do in the region, and close to shopping etc., but not too close. I’m fixin’ to book for an additional three weeks so does that tell ya anything? Upon reading reviews with Campendium I’ve decided to pay less attention to those reviews and write a few myself. I hope you find this one to you’re licking. Could this old campground use some upgrades? Sure, but then it wouldn’t be forty bucks, it would be a hundred like those fancy cement slabs out there. Now pardon me while I go set a spell by the creek. BTW… no cell service with T Mobile here but the wi-fi here is pretty good, so I used that for internet and phone.
