Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 23, 2023We're in a 30 ft fifth wheel and barely fit in #1. The other larger sites are 2, 4, and 11. Most sites are sprinter van size. Some have two parking spots. All have tent pads, fire rings, and picnic tables. The group site has a giant grill, fire ring, and five tent pads. It's $20/night. It has four parking spots. The trailhead parking lot is adjacent to the group site and has a vault toilet and bike repair station. The trail starts here. The campground is only a few miles from Cedar City. It's also convenient to Kanarra Falls and the Kolob sector of Zion NP. Juniper trees surround you but have been trimmed and aren't too tall for rooftop solar. Some sites are not level. Hubby really enjoyed the bike trails, especially when I dropped him off at the top. Cell service was pretty good for T-Mobile and Verizon.

Nice little campground, quiet and pretty, well-kept large sites with table & fire rings. My only issue was having to make a reservation online. Did not use facilities but I think it's 'pack it in, pack it out' as I saw no dumpster or trash receptacles. Sites not level. Gravel road in is smooth.

Site 8 described as having slight grade but we had to raise our Front tires off the ground to find level. Lots of bees on our visit, I got stung once and couldn’t sit out in afternoon because so many. A few “campers” appear to live in park full time and sheriff cruise thru checking things out. Park is new and clean and very close to Cedar City.

Gravel road very flat and well-graded. No issues with access. Small campground with a few larger sites. We stayed in #1 which easily fit our 44' overall length. Didn't need to unhook; site was very level. Some sites were not very level and much shorter.
There's a large construction project starting nearby; looks like a housing development. We heard some equipment noise during the day but not bothersome. Very quiet at night.
Restroom is a typical concrete-walled pit toilet. Clean. Dumpster in the campground near the parking area. Most of the traffic is mountain bikers making use of the trail that starts in the campground.
Reservation required, although you can reserve onsite using the QR code at the entrance. We made ours in the morning before arriving in the afternoon. Good thing since ours was the only one available when we arrived, although there was a "squatter" in our site. 20-something gal thought she could take any site she wanted, despite reserving site 3. A little off the path of I-15, but a good campground with facilities and basic amenities (fire pit, picnic table, tent area). I used it as a stopping point between driving days with 22' trailer, easily backed into spot #2, plenty of room for a tent plus seats around the fire pit if you wanted. Many spots are only suitable for a car or two with a tent, and larger rigs wouldn't squeeze in. I believe HOV trails are near by, so if you are looking for quiet daytime I am not sure this the the campsite to visit. Nights were pretty quiet and sunset was nice, the terrain offered some great red rock and soil and was a nice relaxing space.

We reserved space #5 for 2 nights, the booking fee was almost as much as the rate for 2 nights. There are only a few sites large enough for a 40’. Sadly, the grade on the site was too severe for our rig. No other sites available for 2 nights that could accommodate our rig. There is a cancellation fee too, so we did not get a refund. Oddly, there were a lot of vacant spots, wondering if people don’t bother to cancel if they don’t get a refund.
We thought about squatting in the group lot for the night since it was vacant, but that didn’t feel right.

Good spot to stop for the night. $13 when reserved. Sign says reservation only when you get here. Second cleanest pit toilet I’ve seen.

I Have A 21ft Rig, Gravel Road In Was Flat but Dusty And Washboard. I Had Site #6 Which Was Not Level Enough For Me.. Very Scenic And I Would Stay If I Had That Level Spot. I Liked The $13 Fee. Would Recommend For Mountain Bikers As Well.

You can definitely get bigger rigs in, but I would recommend somewhere else if you have a bigger rig. Nice well spaced sites, but not much shade. “Trees” are really just overgrown cedar shrubs. Nice fire pits and picnic tables. Also close enough to town (5miles) if you need anything.
