This place is a hidden treasure. Been there a couple times now and each time better than the last.
This bridge was so cool. I went when the fog was rolling in and it made it look like a horror movie! So neat.

Very worth the walk on the tracks. Been coming here for years and each time is better than the last. You'll be walking on the tracks for awhile so once you feel like you've passed it....keep going. The falls are right before the bridge.
Such a neat monument. Seeing all the history and being able to climb through the preservations was SO cool. Highly recommended.
I used to camp at Patricks point when I was a kid and it was the most amazing experience!
Only stayed one night but it was so much fun! We were driving a lot so we didn't get to experience the community bomb fire but what a neat idea! The tents were very nice, clean. The bathrooms were individual, which I liked. This is the perfect place to stay if you'll be in the area for a couple of days. Can't wait to go back! The whole staff was friendly and accommodating.
Road this train when I was a kid. So much fun (that I remember). The area is very interesting, haven't been back in years.
If you have an SUV or truck you'll be fine. The lake was pretty cool. Very empty and quiet. Seemed like the perfect spot for criminals to dump bodies. There's also a prison near by.
The grand canyon is obviously amazing and breathtaking but the South Rim can get VERY busy. I thought the crowds took away from what I was actually looking at. Try out some not so visited spots or the North Rim.
