This was quite out of the way which we didn't realize when we headed there. It said one thing in the ad but is actually not so nice, clean or quiet. We did have a nice short walk around the area. I would not recommend this place to anyone traveling through. Very questionable residence & loud music.

Price is with our NPS Senior Pass. This is a wide open spacious campground. All sites are set up far apart . Most have corals for your horses. Each site has water and electric. Our site was not exactly level but we used our blocks and it was fine. All sites are gravel. Only 2 bars with Verizon but we used our WeBoost and did okay. Open sky for Dish satellite. There is a very nice and informative camphost who can tell you everything to see and do. We visited Fort Stanton, Lincoln and Ruidoso. Ate at Oso Cafe in Capitan. Hiked some of the trails and road on some 4x4 roads. Enjoyed our time here and would definitely stop here again .

We pulled in and found a level pull thru so we could stay hooked up. This is nice park on a very picturesque lake. The park was quiet the night we were there and it was mostly full. Very walkable. There was no signal in this area.

We stopped here for 1 night after the horrendous drive up the Al-Can. We picked site 2 from the few that were left because a lot of firewood was left at the site and we felt like having a fire. This is not a level site at all. Sites are dirt/gravel. No signal in this part of the drive. The park is clean, quiet and on the lake. We would stay here again but pick a more level site. I did not check out the pit toilets so don't know about them. Free firewood in the bin.

$45 CAD price. The website and brochure both said full hookup and cable but no cable. This park is full timers with a few sites right in the middle of it all for nightly rental. I meant to take pics but didn't. We were not impressed with the park and would not stay again but there aren't a lot of choices.

We had a beautiful spot with a gorgeous view of the Tetons. Sites number five and six are at the top plateau; right at the fork in the road. Level site with lots of space but it's at the end of a dead end that is not marked as such so we had lots of people come down the road and turn around at our spot and crush lots of sage. A dead end sign should be at the beginning of this one site road. The hosts are super nice but I think they could come around more to move all of the people camped in places that were marked no camping. They destroyed a lot of sage; very sad. The road in is extremely rocky and difficult to drive up without 4x4. We would definitely come here again but probably choose a more private site. Get here early to find a decent site as it is extremely busy.

We enjoy this park in the wooded loop up top when we travel through Whitehorse. It is fairly quiet and just close enough to Whitehorse to get things done and stocked. We had a level, gravel site with electric, water and cable. Laundry was still closed from the winter. Dump station is available at the end of the park. We will camp here again. Check in was easy and friendly.

This was a very nice park. On the highway but couldn't really hear it. We had a great view in the back of the lake and mountains. I would recommend this park to anyone with an RV 35' or less. And they give you firewood!

This is adequate at best. Not the most impressive of trailer parks. I will say it was a late arrival & early departure for $20 USD so that was ok.

We had a very nice and peaceful 4 days in this National Forest. There were OTV's riding around and an occasional vehicle but otherwise very private and relaxing. We found a level site along Forest road 205. there was no cell service unless we climbed to the top of a hill. The roads are gravel but we traveled just fine pulling our fifth wheel. We will be back 😊
