We arrived on a Tuesday evening in June and only 1 other RV was in the lot. There is a bit of road noise but our fan cancels most of that out. The BassPro is very nice and has an arcade and a unique bowling alley. I’d recommend for a quick (and free) overnight stay.

We stayed here for a month while waiting on our home to sell.
Pros: It is convenient to interstate, Mylan Park Aquatic Center and stores.
Kids had fun riding their scooters in the pavilion at the end of the WVU Ext. Office.
The person who answers their phone is very pleasant.
They are in the process of building a KoA to replace the parking lot RV sites.
Cons: The parking lot is filthy; they should invest in a street sweeper.
The lines painted on the asphalt are so faded that no one would be able to read them to be able to tell where their actual site is located.
The electric/water/sewer are located at the very back of each site so be prepared with long cords/hoses.
No check in process to speak of. You show up and hook up without speaking to anyone.
The RV parking is mostly level and free. I hear some slight noise from the idling trucks nearby but that doesn't bother us. We'll turn on some white noise at bedtime and it will disappear.
The Tamarack is a unique place to visit with lots of arts, crafts, books, blankets, etc. all made by WV folks.
The spots are large and separated from the neighboring spots with large, full-grown trees. The pads were level and clean. The grass is beautifully manicured and so green. The shower house/bathroom was clean. The water was a bit tricky to get just right but it wasn't a big issue. The employees we met were all so friendly. The laundry facilities were nice and clean. We didn't use them, but we did take a peek.
Also, we received a special deal on the stay when we bought a two-day Cedar Point pass, which the park is just a quick 10-minute walk away! We saved so much money by not eating at the park.

This campground is clean and well maintained. There is a playground, clean shower house and bathrooms. I would recommend this place. It is a long drive in to get here but our stay at the end of June 2023 was a very good experience.

The road coming in is dirt and not perfect but it’s not bad. We drove slowly and didn’t have any trouble. There are lots of sites around the lake. The sites are mostly large. Our 32” fifth wheel fit just fine. There are a few vault toilets available. The scenery is pretty.

The camp hosts are attentive and helpful. This camp ground may have the cleanest vault toilets I’ve ever seen! The road noise did not bother us a bit. The location is convenient to West Yellowstone, Idaho, Yellowstone NP.

The gravel spots are level and large. The vault toilets are super clean at the time of our stay (Sept. 2023). There are plenty of water spigots, trash cans and toilets. The fire rings are concrete and very nice. There is a grill as well as picnic tables. Our Verizon cell service and data work nicely. It’s only a 15 minute drive to Pinedale. We would definitely stay here again.

The campsites are not made for pull behind trailers/fifth wheels. The space can accommodate small vans/campers/tents. The vault toilets are awful with a grate for the door, so yes, people could see you do your business. I walked to the back few sites, they are kind of hidden. VERY SKETCHY!! Think homeless encampment. The one legitimate camper walked over to my husband and I and said we should not stay, there are other, better places. He told us he was there a couple months ago and the police shut down both entrances/exits to perform a DRUG BUST. I believed him. It certainly had that feel. We did not stay, we didn’t feel safe in this spot.
Battle Run is now our favorite campground. We stayed in a wonderful spot that bordered the lake. We could walk right down to it and jump in with our paddle board and tubes. The bathhouse is clean and the shower water was hot. There were a bunch of kids for my kids to play with. There is a playground, basketball court, volleyball court and the roads are perfect for riding your bike. Our lot was level and large enough for our 32' fifth wheel and full size truck. I have zero complaints.
