We needed a stop over on our way to Big Bend. We were delighted to find this great little no frills park with hookups. Naomi and her son were the perfect hosts. Helpful, kind and a lot of fun. Great restaurant recommendation. Good wifi, water pressure, 50 amp and sewer.

We work on the road and site 8 was right by a repeater and we were shocked at how good the wifi was our entire stay! We used this campground as home base to explore Wall, Buffalo Gap and the Badlands. It is also an easy gorgeous drive to Rapid City if you want to trek that far. The dog park was great and people were friendly. The sites themselves were decent. Everything you'd expect with a gravel, pull thru, full hookup site. They were closer to neighbors than we prefer but it met our needs.

This is our second stay here. The staff has always been great. We rode bikes on the beach daily. We also enjoyed putting our deck down over the lagoon. No problem receiving Amazon packages. Wifi wasn't fantastic but we never expect it will be and always have back up options for work.

I was a little concerned after reading reviews about the campground but our spot was fantastic. We must have found one of the few level spots. It was a large lot perfect for our dogs. Grounds were well kept and the park was gorgeous. We did lose power one day but it was back on in a few hours. I would recommend always using a power surge protector.

We loved this little campground. Large, private spots with water and electric and lake access. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

As far as city camping goes this campground was great. Spaces are closer than we typically enjoy but the park was great and super friendly. Site 04 was a great pull through with a view of the water.

We loved our stay here. Very friendly vibe in the campground. Very pet friendly. Have the kiddos bring their bikes. Tons of great hiking in the park. Do check maps for best roads into area. Those switchbacks are no joke.

This campground is very well maintained and although we booked an electric site, we actually had full hook up which is great! Lots of great hiking and near Devonian Fossil Gorge which is really neat and free.

We had one problem when arriving. The 30 amp outlet was melted. They sent a Ranger out that night and it was fully replaced. We have used our surge protectors while here and had no issues.

The roads getting back to camp are a bit challenging but totally doable. Very lovely campground.
