We stayed here on 7/30/22. Small pool, playground. Many sites pull through with full hookups, sites very close together and no trees or bushes as separation between sites and the park was almost full. Clean bath house and showers, laundry with 2 washers and dryers. Some seasonal sites. We just stayed one night as a stopover. Free Wifi available but it slowed when everyone was up and streaming.

Site 86, under the trees near Stoughton Pond. Not able to access the pond from the site as it is on a hill above the pond. No mosquitos.
Campground has many seasonals, we stayed there as our friends are seasonals on site 88. We had water and electric but were surprised to find the electric was 20 amp, luckily we have adaptors. There are some tent sites, and a few pull thru sites in an open area not under the trees. There is a back loop with full hook ups. Some sites would be difficult to access in a large camper.
Camp owners very responsive, must call to make reservations. They do not tolerate after hour noise and will eject campers who are abusive. Seasonal campers friendly, all dogs must be on leash. Easy check in. Camp roads are narrow. Dump station.
Boat, kayak access to Stoughton Pond. The pond also has a great picnic area and beach, access on Stoughton Pond Road. Access to the Vermont snowmobile trails in campground, they do have some year round sites and you can snowmobile from your campsite. They also have a heated bathhouse year round.
Bathrooms clean, hot showers free, some shower stalls are very large and others are small. The bathhouse in the middle has the largest showers.
2 nice covered picnic areas, one under the trees and another by the office. There is a small clean pond with floats, kids play area, basketball court (1/2), miniature golf, shuffleboard and horseshoes.
1 bar cell service at the site but better reception at the office. Non-secure wifi near the office.
There is a great old-fashioned take-out restaurant on the corner of routes 106 & 131 with ice cream.
Be aware when using navigation (google maps or other), there are many small gravel roads in Vermont that would be difficult to use towing a camper. Stay on numbered routes, it may take a few minutes longer but worth not having to call a tow truck if you get stuck somewhere isolated on a dirt road.

Small park located off of a main road with a small lake and beach. There is one bathhouse located in the center of the two loops. There are a few electric sites, some with the pole at an odd place requiring some maneuvering to access the pole. Many pull through sites but some awkward. The bench at our site was broken and the fire pit hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.
The bathhouse is disgusting. There is mold going up the walls and on the floor in the showers. Some toilet stalls have broken latches, one urinal in the men’s room is taped off as unusable and looks disgusting, and one power plug is broken. Many of the water spigots in the campground are not working and have black bags over them. The bathroom was “cleaned” once during our 2 day stay and it looked like they just pushed a mop over the floor and moved the dirt around. The hair on the wall in one of the showers never was removed. There were 1/2-1 inch gaps in the walls where the building settled and tiles on the floor were missing. The building needs to be demolished and rebuilt.
The beach at the small lake was very small. There is a bathhouse near the beach that has been closed for a long time. The curtains in the windows were faded and falling apart. The “playground” consisted of two old fashioned swing sets and half of a basketball court. The only building in good shape was the rental hall for events.
There were some nice hikes in the area. They had been updated fairly recently.
Site 34, non-electric site. Backs close to the site on the outside loop and next to the path from outside loop to inside loop. I would give this campground zero stars if I could. I will never go back here. Too bad because Wisconsin has some great State Parks.

Stayed mid-June 2020. It has mostly seasonal sites and only a few families were there. There were 3 other non-seasonals there besides us, thus, it was very quiet and private.

We stayed there from 6/20 - 623 2022. This park is off the road about a mile with two loops. The north loop is larger and closer to the beach and the south loop is smaller. Most sites have shade and trees or foliage separating sites. There are quite a few pull thru sites with concrete pads, and the rest have asphalt pads. The bathrooms were ok, the water was very heavy with iron and not drinkable. We were visiting family in East Lansing, so did not go to the beach or view the lake, but the other campers seemed to be enjoying it. Racoons were evident.

Small campground with around 30 sites, some with lean-to's. Some sites smaller than others, well placed under the trees. Mosquitos in our location but citronella candles effective.
Reservations made on the Vermont State Park website and used campsite photos to choose site.
Easy check in at arrival. Road crosses the West river over a narrow bridge with sharp left turn into the park.
Small country store in the village of Jamaica, larger store in Townsend, further south on route 30. Great small beer store on the corner of route 30 and 100 (Rawsonville) with loads of small craft brews, mostly from Vermont.
Water spigots available and bathrooms clean. Pay shower - 50 cents for 5 minutes. It takes about 30 seconds for the hot water to arrive in the shower, recommend turning on hot water at the sink prior to the shower.
Camper next to us ran generator after hours and staff responsive. Sites exceptionally clean.
Able to see other campers but not obtrusive. Able to hear other campers only if playing loud music/talking loud. Quiet hours enforced, camp host near check in available after hours if there is a problem, but there was no problem while we were there.
Some sites with lean-to's next to West river. Play area for kids, nice beach on the river. Access to rail trail which leads to hike up mountain to a waterfall, or to the Ball Mountain dam.
No cell service (Verizon), non-secure wifi at check in area only. But received cell service during a hike at the top of the dam.

We stayed here from 6/10 - 6/12 2022. Site 158 under the trees, non-electric. Very large campground with the majority of the sites very close together, some trees but open. Some sites close to the lake which could be an issue if there was a storm or it was windy. Our site was under trees and could be muddy if it rained. There was one bathroom with showers and the other without showers, both in poor condition, showers old and tired. Firewood can be purchased close by and Ray's Market is a must for good meat and supplies. The fish hatchery is close by along with the spillway where you can feed the carp and canada geese. Easy access to the lake for boating and fishing. There is also a fish cleaning area.
Follow GPS coordinates to get to this park, we got lost in a small neighborhood as our GPS tried to take us down a discontinued road when we put in the address.

We stayed here 7/24/22 - 7/27/22. Small quiet park, some sites under the trees, some in an open field and a few with a water view. Our site was partially shaded with trees and bushes providing privacy. Central bath house which was clean. No water electric sites, but had a dump station and potable water fill for campers. No play ground but an open fields which some kids used to play baseball. Ellsworth is close by with grocery stores and laundromats. Close to Acadia Park but far from the crowds.

We stayed here 7/21 - 7/23/2022. Nice state park in two sections. We were in site 27 in the lower section and had water and electric. There is one large bath house in the center of the section. It was clean but well used as the campground was busy. Many nice level sites under the trees and some in the sun facing route 1. Some road noise. The upper section had no water and electric and the sites were spaced further apart and there was one bath house in the center. Road noise could be heard more loudly here. There is a park with picnic tables and path to the ocean on the opposite side of route 1. Access to road and hiking trails to Mt Battie is within the campground. Popular hikes around the mountain and great views. Camden, Rockland and lighthouses are close by.

We stayed here from 6/7-6/10 2022. Site 13 was under the trees, electric. Water spigot across the road. Bathrooms were new and immaculate. Some sites more private than others. The staff were fantastic. Many hiking trails, nature trails, kids play area. Beautiful beach and boat launch, many areas to picnic. Town of Warren close by, grocery stores, laundromat, etc all in downtown area.
