easy, paved paths to walk to two great waterfalls, where you can explore the rocks in the water if you're feeling a little more adventurous. wonderful for families with older kids!
Beautiful site with large campsites with or without power and water. Out of state fees were $11 park fee and $24 dry camp/ night. Nice trails and the highest waterfall in Wisconsin. Most sites were pull through. Very quiet with lots of space between campsites. Not much grass in campsites but even with a 1/2 inch of rain was not muddy. Nice showers and bathrooms.

Nice, clean campground. Majority of sites are pull thru, about half have electricity. Only downfall is there is no garbage disposal inside campground, you have to take it to the front of park where the big dumpster is. Only recycling disposal in campground. Bath house is typical of a state park.

I stayed at site 31. No electric at this site but some do have it. Nice trails with beautiful views of the waterfalls, lake and River. Showers and bathrooms need updated.

We’ve been on the road for 28 days and this is the most we’ve paid for the least amenities. Bathrooms are in need of a good cleaning and updating. We booked online and I’m pretty sure it said there was a water hookup but there are water fountains and they are too far away from the campsite to be hookups. Sites are big with lots of trees and shade. Table, bench, fire pit.

Small park located off of a main road with a small lake and beach. There is one bathhouse located in the center of the two loops. There are a few electric sites, some with the pole at an odd place requiring some maneuvering to access the pole. Many pull through sites but some awkward. The bench at our site was broken and the fire pit hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.
The bathhouse is disgusting. There is mold going up the walls and on the floor in the showers. Some toilet stalls have broken latches, one urinal in the men’s room is taped off as unusable and looks disgusting, and one power plug is broken. Many of the water spigots in the campground are not working and have black bags over them. The bathroom was “cleaned” once during our 2 day stay and it looked like they just pushed a mop over the floor and moved the dirt around. The hair on the wall in one of the showers never was removed. There were 1/2-1 inch gaps in the walls where the building settled and tiles on the floor were missing. The building needs to be demolished and rebuilt.
The beach at the small lake was very small. There is a bathhouse near the beach that has been closed for a long time. The curtains in the windows were faded and falling apart. The “playground” consisted of two old fashioned swing sets and half of a basketball court. The only building in good shape was the rental hall for events.
There were some nice hikes in the area. They had been updated fairly recently.
Site 34, non-electric site. Backs close to the site on the outside loop and next to the path from outside loop to inside loop. I would give this campground zero stars if I could. I will never go back here. Too bad because Wisconsin has some great State Parks.

Very beautiful and rustic feel. Bring a kayak to see everything!
