Wonderful wooded campground near Granite Falls. There’s so much hiking here! This is a great little campground that has a lot of privacy between sites.

The girl working the front desk was so nice. The views of Lake Michigan are divine, but only in the end sites. We stayed in 34 and had an incredible view. We were supposed to stay a week but canceled when we got there and realized the beach was closed forever. It’s been washed away.
Most of the sites are not level.
No cell signal. Unusable 1x. We didn’t get out our booster.

After a long day of driving we arrived to find the place entirely blocked off.

Nice dog run. 2 beautiful pools looking out at the mountains. Hot tub. Winery with an excellent restaurant. Clean. I mean clean. This place is clean. Full hook up. Lots and lots of fun activities. RV wash! Laundry. Showers. And so quiet. Right on the edge of town and back from any roads. We found out the monthly rate is only $367! Wow. The views of the nearby mountains are amazing. If we wanted to stay at an RV park for a month, this would be it.

We traveled the Oregon Coast and stayed here. The beach is just over a small dune. We walked the Long Beach every day and had fires on the beach a couple of times. The host was a tremendous lady. Close to North Bend with a Natural Grocer. We loved this place. Also we were the only ones there. It’s a big parking lot. We don’t mind that. I imagine the vibe would be different if a lot of people were camping here.
Verizon, ATT and T-Mobile all good enough to stream and work on the internet.

Make sure you lock up your bikes. The front tire was stolen off one of our bikes.
There are two parts of this part. The south and the north. Stay in the south part. We have a small trailer, 17 feet, and that made our spot in the south side nicer because we could be against the outer wall. It was quiet, even when we had to move to the north park because they were busy. The casino that's connected has loads of stuff. Good food, the steak house is excellent. There's a bowling alley and a movie theater and you can walk. The pools are clean. The showers are clean and well kept. The spots on the edges are large for an RV Park, but if you have a big rig and have to be in the middle they probably aren't as great for you. The South Park has lots of trees. The dog runs are kept up really nicely. We really enjoyed it here. Also our rate is low because we have a small rig.

We like the vibe at Grand Haven better but the actual site here was the best of the four Michigan state parks we stayed at. Downsides though, it is on a major busy road. No way you are turning left. The road sound was loud until after midnight and early in the morning. It’s a weird state park in the middle of the city. Tons of construction. Right across from the beach with a nice bridge over the busy road. Lots to walk to from the park. Excellent cell service.

This is one of the most popular campgrounds in the area. I’d recommend Swift Creek over this one. It does have flush toilets and a shower by the dock. The mosquitoes are thick so plan accordingly. I wouldn’t say it was big rig friendly. There are a couple of spots large rigs could fit in.
There is no cell service unless you walk to the very end of the dock where Verizon sometimes works and T-Mobile is blazing fast of all things.

We stopped here in our way home so we wouldn't have to store our glamper before bringing it in for service. It was a lot of fun! Don Laughlin owns the Riverside Casino and the RV park. He has an interesting and adventurous story of creating the gaming town of Laughlin. We enjoyed the close acess to the Riverwalk and the casino. We are at the 24 hour cafe at the Riverside with really reasonably priced and surprisingly good food. Only $8.95 for spaghetti with garlic bread and a salad.
The RV park sports fabulous vistas of the Colorado from the upper levels and it is customary to put your lawn chair out and watch the casino lights. We saw many of the RV park residents enjoying the lights go up as the sun goes down.
We arrived after hours and just found our spot and wrote it on a card with our names and payment info. You can go into the casino front desk and ask for a key to get into the bathrooms and laundry. You can also use the pool in the casino.
There's free parking in the casino lot across the street but we wanted AC. Technically it's illegal to overnight park in a casino parking lot, but Don Laughlin is a hustler and he goes the extra mile to get people into his casino. I've also stayed there on a different trip and it was safe and convenient.
We would definitely stay here again.

There is no cell service here. Forget talking to anyone. You can't hear anything. You can drive about 2 miles up the road to a viewpoint where I got LTE on AT&T, but you can't stay there. No Verizon of any kind. The road up is windy and narrow. I wouldn't have taken my trailer up it; however we saw a small 5th wheel and two class c's and one trailer about 20 feet long.
The campground is actually a $5 donation, not free. There's pit toilets and the sites are immaculate. So pay the $5 to support that. Most sites are secluded by trees and very private.
We went in late September and it was COLD. we did stay in our rooftop tent but still it got down to 29 at night. Be prepared.
There is an incredible hike near the visitor's center with trees older than Jesus, seriously.
