If you are lucky enough to get a spot here enjoy it! This is one of the only places on Lake Michigan where you can camp with the beach literally outside your door. You can walk/ride your bike to multiple breweries and restaurants. You can walk down the pier. Watch the sailboats go by. All this and never drive your car. The sites are level, but if you have a rig longer than 20 feet you’ll be taking your time backing in because it’s tight. But once you are in your spot everyone is nice and the location is lovely. It reminds me of a more organized Lone Rock campground. I really don’t know how someone could rate this less than 5 stars. I’m a beach camping connoisseur. It’s always crowded. It’s always loud. It’s always electric energically. That’s what makes it fun! There are two types of people. Those who beach camp and everyone else. Enjoy! :)

The people who think the road was bad maybe haven’t done much boondocking. I can’t know. I arrived at night alone and easily made it to the middle of the playa. Well, my dog was with me. It’s true there are many ruts but they are easy to miss, even in the dark. The road in is washboard but it’s short and not as bad as say Lake Mead.

The internet is superb. This location is so close to the park you could spit on it. There’s a natural foods grocery with an amazing selection, farm fresh eggs and produce (the kind of eggs with the dark yellow yolk and no male baby chicks had to die today for them). Anyhow, basically vegetarian paradise. My dog roamed free which she loves. This place is HUGE so you’ll be no where near your neighbors. Sadly it’s also for sale so it might not be around for long.

Bring your bike for hours of riding around the dry lake bed. I didn’t see any trash near me but there were trashier spots.

This is a beautiful campground unfortunately placed between the east and west bound I-90. It is LOUD. I read a lot of reviews and was like “oh it won’t be that loud.” But I was wrong. We could hear the highway all night long inside a very well insulated trailer.

That being said, it’s also beautiful and there and three fantastic hikes right outside of the campground. One leads to a waterfall. There’s electric at a lot of the sites. They are 50% reserved, 50% walk up. If you arrive on a week day you are very likely to get a spot. Weekends forget it. This place is close to the city.

All the carriers work really well here so if you’ve got work to do it’s a good spot.

Don Laughlin does a great job of bringing good vibes to Laughlin. I love this casino. We really like to stay at the RV Park across the street with the good views but in a pinch a parking lot will do. I know people who stay their entire winter here. There’s great food and entertainment. I do not suggest the buffet but the cafe is wonderful for an inexpensive spot in the desert. Spaghetti was on point, if you enjoy and appreciate that sort of heart warming, home cooked cuisine. Feels like grandma’s house. I think my grandma likely gambled here and you should too. Walk the river walk at sunset. Quiet night to sleep. This is an excellent overnight spot that always welcomes me back to the great state of Nevada after a long trip elsewhere. Would totally recommend.

There’s only two spots here and only one is big rig accessible. It really wasn’t great for turning around. There’s one spot where the pin is marked. If you keep going down the road there’s houses and no pull offs. The road to the right at the entry has one spot just before private property. It would be difficult to turn around if you had a trailer or rig larger than 24 feet. The second spot had no signal. We drove out here based on the other review but had to drive back to town to get enough signal to find something else since someone was parked in the one spot on the hill we could get into. Would not recommend.

There’s weekly yoga, music, over 1,000 acres to hike and explore, lake for swimming or kayaking or paddle boarding, dump is included. Last review said generators and dump smell, not sure why they didn’t move when there is literally over 1,000 acres to park in. We have solar but if you hate generators give your money to those people with them so they can afford solar. It’s an expensive one off. High class problems I say. I’ve met some of the most amazing people I’ve met in my life here. And my dog runs off lease. 21-45 download 7-15 upload speeds depends on the day with the booster and this is very location dependent out here so drive around and do speed tests. Verizon most spots. T-Mobile in only one area I could find. $180 for the season or $40 for two weeks. No free camping. You will get ticketed. Don’t ask me how I know.

https://youtu.be/o6yGrvrK-WQ I made a video about the music here. My friend Buster with the Santa hat passed from heart disease at 88, must have worked that heart hard with all the love he gave out, he’s missed and was well adored by us all.

Our dog got at least 4 ticks. We are looking for more. We had to go into town and wash all our bedding. This is the only time in a year of traveling we’ve experienced ticks.

Besides, this is far from town and the town is awesome and best experienced at night. It’s worth paying to stay at an RV Park.

Don’t stay here.

Update: We found more ticks and read up. There is an invasive tick species here that can give humans diseases too. In order to get rid of the ticks we have to have our entire trailer bombed and dry everything cloth in high heat for 30 minutes. We will also have to be out of the RV and my truck, which also has to be bombed, for 24 hours. Thus this ends our RV Life for now and we got an apartment. Really warning you, don’t take the risk. It’s just not worth it.

I love Las Vegas, so I'm biased. Walking distance from casinos. Great food nearby. Happy hour at Oscars is incredible with a view. Ladies drink free on Thursdays. The RV park is really basic but in this part of Vegas, safety is more of a concern to me than esthetics and this place is pretty safe for Vegas. There's a security guard that comes by regularly. The showers are hot. The laundry is easy to get to. There's full hook ups for $20!!! Boulder highway has fancier RV parks, but they are like $50 a night and not walking distance from a main attraction in Vegas. A lot of my full timer Vegas friends live here when they are in town. It's loud, but that's part of being in Vegas.

Love this place. Super easy to access and clean dump station. Dump is on the North side near the service. It does close at 5pm so arrive before then. It's totally free. We use it now and I used to use it when I rented RV's. They also have water but bring your own hose.

On a side note, Brandi in service is very helpful and honest. If you need service in Vegas, go here. Kathy in sales will be totally up front and honest when selling you a rig. We've bought from her and so have some friends. We've all been pleased.
