This is a nice place to stay if you are visiting Death Valley because it’s cooler and very open. Unfortunately as time has gone on I’ve seen some vandalism growing. That always makes me sad and makes me not want to review places I love. There is no cell service even with a booster. There’s a tiny trickle at the entrance but only enough to taunt you. Do not expect to text, make calls, or have internet. We have Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

I’ve spent many a wonderful quiet night here.

We love this place. None of the sites are level. The electric is iffy. The soak is included in your stay. The price above is for 2 people. It's clean. It's just not tidy and it's not perfect, but then again it is. This is a must do in your lifetime kind of place. We were lucky enough to see a double rainbow while we were here the second time. If you like geese there's a surprise for you.

AT&T and Verizon were solid. I didn't check the T-Mobile. I'll update if we do. But who wants to work here? That's not what it's for. Chill out and soak while looking at the sunset over Utah's mountains.

Quiet and very clean! The casino has a special lot just for RV's. Lot G. There was a van, a semi, a class C, and a Bounder there when we stayed. You register with security, they give you a pass, you are supposed to sign up for a players card but I forgot. The Ocean restaurant was awesome. Get the Combo Pan Roast. We enjoy staying at Casinos so this was great, but rarely are they quiet so this was a special treat. Right off the expressway and easy to acess.

You'll notice this place right away because it's surrounded by large planter pots. It is also the only place in Tecopa that you can park on the mountain and look out at the valley. They have 2 different private hot spring rooms that were open every time we have been there (3 times), you get 24 hour acess, and they allow men and women to co-use them. The green building place doesn't allow that and me and my partner prefer to be together than naked with strangers. There are full hookups and in the off season it's only $28 a night. There's a cute little restaurant we haven't been able to eat at yet as it's only open Thursday-Sunday. I think Wednesday lunch as well. They have a sometimes open mic on Friday's and live music on Saturdays. There is a massage therapist but since there's no cell service I've never been able to connect with her, they email her you want a massage and I guess she's supposed to come by your rig and set a time but we've not been able to get this done. There's a super cool labyrinth where people leave little offerings at the alter at the end. There's rock crystals sold in an octagon room that's purple. They sell clay mud for bathing at home, not in the hot springs. Anyhow, we've checked out all 4 places in the town and this one is our favorite because it has that chill kind of laid back vibe we do. They didn't even mind our harmonium, drum, singing, music making.

Do be aware, we read the other reviews that had mobile service and it depends on what site you park in. Also AT&T and Verizon were both on what we only know to call a circle of signal. To us, that means we have signal in and out. Site 5 had zero AT&T signal. We didn't check our T-Mobile. We just assumed there was no signal for that.

It's so quiet here that your ears ring and it was mostly clean. Someone left quite a mess of their food at a site near ours. But otherwise it was clean. The pit toilet by our site was clean and we saw the ranger come by. They are looking for a volunteer Campground host. Maybe that's the job for you?

There was a solid hike right outside our door. 2,500 steps according to my iwatch. Fantastic view from the top.

We arrived in the dark of the night on a new moon and had no problems finding a site. There's also a large pull out next to the turn in off the road. If you needed to arrive at night in your 40 foot class A, you could stay there until morning.

We were just getting out of Vegas and that always takes longer than you think it will. We are on the way to the Grand Canyon. This was a great spot that's far enough out of Vegas to feel wild again but seriously like a right turn off the main road, very, very easy to get to. We parked on the rim over looking an absolutely picturesque landscape of desert. Morgan, the dog, and I ran out the door and hiked a beautiful and clean hike. Less than 2 minutes walk from the site. Our T-Mobile hot spot worked great and we watched movies and YouTube all night. Verizon and ATT were full too. Only downside, really loud, but that's to be expected.

When you think Wyoming. This is the picture in your mind. Absolutely beautiful. We would have stayed longer but no cell signal and I’m working on thecraftedcarrot.com so no time for no signal. The road is good for any size rig down to the campground. The campground was empty of nearly empty the entire time we were here. Probably because there are so many boondocking spots on the way. Enjoy your stay ❤️

Trailer Village and Mather were completely full so we wandered down to this gem thanks to Campendium. We only saw a few other campers while we were there. It's close to the Arizona Trail and about 3 miles from the Grandview lookout.

A couple of dead elk or deer. I think the area is used for hunting during season. I didn't get too close to find out but our dog brought us some bones. Otherwise, we found the sites to be clean and large.

No cell service at all for both our Verizon and AT&T. Super easy to access in our trailer. Mostly level sites for backcountry.

We will probably always camp here when at the South Rim, because why pay to be surrounded by a bunch of people?!

Initially we were thrown by the price and we really like the place you can park on the hill, but that place was closed and we went here.

The pools are private and really large with open air tops. Room #4 doesn’t have any awning and you can see the sky at night. Each pool room has a fun little mural inspired by the desert. The massage therapist, John, is a really chill guy and it’s only $70 for a massage which I don’t think you have to book in advance but probably should.

The BBQ restaurant was surprisingly good and not at all what you’d expect being out there in the middle of nowhere. Bring cash though because they take cards, it’s just easier if you have cash so you don’t have to go up to the office to pay for your dinner. Most of the restaurants in town are only open on weekends and occasionally so bring everything you need.

There are full hookups but keep in mind the water is the hotsprings water. Idk if you can drink that, the locals do not. But if you don’t drink from your water on board, think of the showers!

Your $50 includes 24 hours of soaking for you and the people in your rig. Children are not allowed.

There is no phone service or internet of any kind. We like that but if you are dependent on the phone it is a solid 45 minute drive to any kind of signal.

Dogs are allowed off leash here! There’s a pool. A nice camp store stocked with mostly candy and alcohol (think white claw and local brews). The sites were interesting and getting through in a 33 foot trailer took some time. The staff was incredibly nice, probably the nicest staff I’ve ever met at an RV Park.

Stay 6 nights get the 7th free.

Really really really loud because of the road.

Verizon was not usable on my phone and iPad but was usable on my partner’s older phone and our hotspot that uses 3G or 4G. T-mobile sometimes worked great, sometimes not at all. We didn’t put up our booster.
