Just spent 5 nights in Cedar Breaks COE campground in Georgetown, TX. Site 10. Level and spacious. Not all sites were level. Park is open to day use, which added to traffic at check in when the boat parking was full. Campground is gated with a code sent to you by email. Bathrooms were COE clean. Water pressure was great in shower, but it was push button. Hot enough water in the summer heat. Very quiet mid-week. Cell service for Verizon was useable. Although treed, Starlink 3rd generation worked well for streaming. Georgetown offers many opportunities for shopping and a variety of local and chain restaurants.

This NY state park has spacious grassy sites as well as shaded locations in the 6 loops. We opted for a lake view site for our one night stay in the shade of a single apple tree not only for the view, but for the ease of access to the level gravel site. Opted not to use the showers due to their well “used” look at the end of the day. There are lakefront sites with more closeup views in the shade (occupied while we were there and in the pet free loops. The bigger rigs seemed to be in Loop G which was more wide open. This was one of the pet loops that had the least amount of driving through the trees.

We would stop again.

Stayed here for one night in late November. The park had some, but not many campers. We came in without reservations. The campground host suggested site 34 which was a pull through with full hookups. It had a nice view of the lake and was close to the dock area and the bathhouse. Coming from I 40 east bound, the GPS took us through some backroads with no signage for the park, but did get us to where we were going. We left via what would appear to be the main entrance to the park. The cell service Verizon was week, but did get some things through. Used the showers to avoid hooking up water and sewer. The bath house was clean, but could use some maintenance. Why do so many campgrounds have problems keeping up with rust? But the showers were hot and the water pressure was good. There was adequate hooks and space to necessary items.

We camped here for one night in late November for one night. We came in without reservations and having arrived early, were able to register at the office before proceeding to our site. The first site that we were given was a somewhat difficult site to get into and the office was gracious enough to change our site to one that was an easy back in. It offered water and electric, but no sewer. What looked like sewer connection was the water shut off valve. There were some sites, but not many that offered sewer. Our site, 40, had some privacy on the driver’s side. The sites were generally close together, but at this time of year with with few campers, this was not an issue. There were site options available that had more privacy given where they were situated, but for us it did not matter. We had a nice fire here courtesy of another campers leftover wood. The site had a fire pit with grill, a BBQ grill, lantern pole and picnic table. We checked out the bathrooms, which were the nicest of any of the TN state parks we visited. They appeared to be more recently remodeled. The cell service was weak, but we were able to use at times. We have been to this park in the past to golf and to visit Homestead buildings. I would definitely return when it is better golfing weather. And to check out the restaurant.

We stayed here one night (had planned to spend 2) mid-November. The trip up to the park from the interstate (from the east) was an adventure climbing the mountains and twists and sharp turns. The park was not crowded and everyone was evenly spaced out through self-selection. We stayed in Site 23. I believe that it is a pull through site, but wasn’t able to check because the internet was spotty. We were able to level our 30’ unit, but the site had some incline to it especially going in to it. We ended up not staying because our heat and hot water was not working in our trailer. Because of that we did make use of the park showers. They were clean and had plenty of hot water and water pressure. The bathroom did have a significant smell. I couldn’t tell if it was sewer gas or sulfur in the water. Because of this and the temperature (below freezing), we did not access the water or the sewer in our full-hookup site. The return to the interstate was an interesting drive as well (going west). Narrower road and one lane bridges. The park was beautiful. It looks as if there are plenty of hiking and water activities. As a winter camping spot, it had the bases covered. Although cell service was not great, our mobile internet device (Verizon) did manage to provide us scrolling, texting and email. I would have to know the status of the water quality to stay for a more extended period and to give it a 5th star.

We spent a perfect summer evening on a lake view waterfront site here at Four Mile Creek State Park. It was a wide site with a tree for shade. It did require a bit of leveling side to side, but totally manageable. We have camped here in the past many times as recently as last year and as far back as the early ‘90’s. We pulled in for a one night stay on our way back from Ontario and we able to snag a great site which offered cool breezes and sounds of the waves as the winds stirred up a chop. We had 30 amp service. 50 is available, but not in my preferred area along the lake. We walked out behind the bathhouse on the other side of the campground although with others to enjoy the sunset over the lake and the view of Toronto in the distance. We did have some light pollution from a neighboring site. The campground has water fill stations and dump stations available. The bathhouses were clean, although we did not use them.

Asked permission at customer service desk. Told RV parking near the hill to the left of the Walmart building. Well lit. It helped to have black out blinds. The space directly by the hill had quite a slope. Found a more level spot an aisle over. There was not any significant noise.

There were many options for eating in the area and a Dunkin Donuts that although slightly awkward was walkable.
