This KOA is HUGE! The drive is wasn’t bad, it’s entrance is right before the RV Center. We checked in late, our envelope with info was taped on to the front of the office door. Easy to get in the park, and found our spot no problem! The Pull thru spots are a really great size, plenty of room for our Class C and Tow vehicle. The sites are not too close to each other which is nice too. Overall a great place, we only stopped for the night, but was a great rest stop.

This KOA is our most visited spot! We always stay here during our 12 hour trek through the great State of Texas. The bathrooms are always very clean, the shower rooms are spacious, and the pool was much needed in 109* weather. The staff is always very kind and helpful, and the front office store has everything you could need. The dog park is huge and allows your pups lots of space to run around. Overall our favorite KOA in Texas!

If you’re looking for a secluded quiet, heavily, wooded campground, this place is for you! So I will say some of the sites are not leveled, so make sure you bring your leveling chocks. The dog park is a great size and easily accessible so your furry friends can go to the bathroom with ease. The park is large and has some fun swings and play areas, as well as foursquare and basketball. There is a creek that runs through the park where you can find some really cool rocks, but be careful because the water is super cold! Overall, this is a great quiet spot to stop over in Durango, because it’s not too far from everything in town. We will definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking for a very clean large park to visit Albuquerque, this is a great place to stop. The area is very clean, the spots are spacious, and the dog parks are super big! There’s also a mini golf area, a giant, jumping pad, and you can even rent little petal cars to ride around the parking. Their front office door is packed with everything you could need if you forget anything. I think the thing I enjoyed the most was how quiet the park was, and how secure it is because it is a gated KOA.

It’s a lot bigger than it looks! Was a really neat stop full of items to look at. Our kids thought it was pretty cool, and they really thought the 3 bodied calf was crazy! The gift shop is very big and we got a lot of goodies from it. If you like road side stops with history this is one you should stop by. The parking lot is all gravel, but had plenty of parking for our RV.

If you are looking for a clean and quiet RV park to stop in for the night then this is the place! We were traveling through to Albuquerque and needed a rest and this park was on the other side of town which made getting back on the road easy! Their restrooms were very clean and spacious. The only down side to this park was not having a fenced in dog park, you can only walk your dog on the leash.
Other than that we would definitely still stay here again!
