We were here for 5 nights and had a great stay. The kids loved meeting other kids and playing at the playground and game room. Easy bike riding and walking around the campground. Best WiFi we’ve had at any campground so far. Will stay again soon I’m sure.

Really enjoyed this KOA for many reason with only one con. BIG upside is the longhorn cattle they have right next to the property that you can feed apples too! Very cool!

Pros : Clean, big dog park, spacious site, we had a nice fire ring at ours. Great facilities, quite, close to all the hustle and bustle of downtown Austin

Con: we had a pull through site that our 40’ and toad could not make the turn to pull into without unhooking the dolly. Not a huge deal and enjoyed having an end spot once all said and done.

KOA’s usually are a last resort for us. Typically jammed packed in and close to the neighbors with 25 children running around.

This place was the complete opposite. Very spaced out, quiet and peaceful. Very large spot with patio, chairs, and a grill.

Pool was great and WiFi was AMAZING! This is the first place we’ve stayed with REAL WiFi.

We will be back!

I really liked this place. The pull-through worked great, the spot had a dedicated table and fire ring, lots of trees, super friendly staff, and fast WiFi (Verizon and AT&T would have been fine but weren't needed at all). The famed longhorns on the private property next store were an unexpected bonus. The restrooms are super clean. You can tell they take pride in this place.

The only downsides (none of which are on the park) are the incredibly busted up roads in the area, the surface street traffic when running out to the store or anywhere else for that matter - horrible - and some truck noise at the Travis County Service Center next door. None of these are deal breakers, though. I'll return.

Happy with the stay. Generally quiet. Staff was really nice!
Very clean campground.
Good wifi for a KOA. Didn't have to use our hotspots all that often. Was able to work a normal digital workday and was actually able to stream a couple of movies during the week late at night. Per usual, campground wifi is tough to use between 5 pm and 9 pm.
Laundry room was fairly new and well-maintained.
Site was spacious with nice fire pit.
Lots of space behind and between spots.
Close gas, food, and groceries, without feeling busy.
Nice dog park.

Direction Note: Google will take you to the wrong entrance which is not an entrance at all. Just pay attention and, as always, the big yellow KOA sign will be around the corner, if Google took you down the back way.

I love this KOA. The people are so nice and accommodating, the sites are spacious and clean, it's not far from downtown Austin, and there is a super cool restaurant/bar called the Sign Bar just down the road. It's a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The only other downside is the traffic when you go into town. Austin is LA-style crowded now. I'll definitely stay here again.

We arrived after the office closed, and the late check in was very easy. The next day we asked for a late checkout, and the people working were so incredibly nice. It cost us $20 to stay an extra 5 hours. Our spot was a back-in spot, had a clean table, and it had two sewage connection points. It also had a extra standard outlet near the table, which was nice. It’s close to an airport, so that was a little noisy, but other than that pretty quiet.

This park is the best KOA I have ever stayed at. Can’t say enough about the wonderful staff here. It’s on the East side of town close to the rodeo arena. Takes 15mins to get downtown. Great location quiet area and safe. They have a great pool, onsite laundry room, clean showers and restrooms. We will be staying here again on our next trip to Austin.

Stayed here in November 2018. The location is not impressive, in the middle of rural land a few miles from anything interesting in Austin. In other words, you won't be walking or biking from here to go anywhere other than maybe a convenience store. So given its remote location, they do a pretty good job at making it comfortable to stay in the park at least. The facilities are very nice, and the campground is pretty well maintained. They apologized for the road in the park being in poor shape, hopefully that gets fixed. The WiFi was not the best but we had pretty good cell service as backup. Campground was quiet and easy to get in and out of. I'd stay here again but I wish it were more convenient to the city.
